Another one of those obituaries. Without the following A-list team members: Sehwag Half-fit Gambhir Tendulkar Zaheer Khan Yuvraj Our ODI team is in shambles. It hardly creates any interest, when you read PK and VK are the bowling spearheads. It will give opportunity for the English team which dreams of winning a ODI against India since 2005-06. It has won one ODI since Feb 2002 in India. India will not miss Harbhajan's bowling, but his rear-guard batting has won or saved couple of ODIs in the last year or so. He had a handy contribution in ODIs as a player. I haven't watched a complete match involving India since the first test in England in the summer. The bowling team is club-class in the international arena. It should still win a couple of ODIs in India backed by 350+ run batting performances. I think we have to blame World Cup victory earlier in the year and the T20 tamasha league for this lethargy. It looks like the players have lost interest in getting back in shape. Too bad too sad. The only interest for the rest of the year is the Aus series and Tendulkar scoring that one century that is giving Kapil Dev hot flashes for all the attention it is generating.
