Unfortunately the regional situation hinders India from doing any major action. I am not sure how much of the baloch-afghan influence is true but if they are causing ruffles over there, I say good for them. India has suffered a lot from Pakistani terrorists

Yesterday some court had to give judgement on the bail pitition of Sanjeev Bhatt which was "defferred" to today..Not sure if it will be "deferred" any further. There's many instances where the cases drag and drag and drag due to "deferments", "reserving judgements" and on top of that "delay in investigations" and many more factors. I believe for important cases, you should "follow the process" but should fast track it. Like the "fast track court" which judged Kasab in the first place (it too dragged).. I live in UK and I see the Judicial system here. They follow all the their process and in very rare cases (I don't know any) where any Judgement is questioned at International level. But they don't DRAG it. The judgement will come rpomptly and quickly. Imaging the Pak Match Fixing trio going through Indian judicial process.. Your post does not answer my question ( the one you quoted). Still, let me ask you this on your proposal - what should be the criteria to identify "important cases"? Also, how would you avoid people trying to abuse the 'fast-track' system by 'raising' importance of their cases by unfair means? How would you ensure fairness (and appeal against judgement) in fast-track cases (remember, some powerful people can abuse the system to get done with cases of their personal interest/benefit. Also, I don't think it is fair to compare UK with India - there is huge difference in terms of scale/mass/numbers.

It does not matter what you/I feel. Only if you can propose some objective assessment process (not clouded by individual/public feelings) to decide the importance of a case - even then, unless that process is accommodated in the current law - we will have to live by whatever is there. As for how SC decided to oversee 2G - no I am not learned about their logic/process behind that. My guess would be, it must have to do with the scale of impact, or more importantly whether the parties involved come under central govt's jurisdiction, and/or whether SC thought that state's judiciary might get biased/influenced unfairly in those cases - as (I guess) the parties involved ( e.g. in case of Guj Riots) are part of state govt - and an objective trial must have been doubtful.

He came here to kill people as much as possible and then become shahid, he must have been brainwashed about the jannat and all. By killing him we will give him what he needs badly right now that is death. Let him be in jail, make him work for 18*7, hard physical work like pathar todna and all then put him into a kala tahkhana kind of barrack for remaining 6 hours of the day. After one year ask him to sing Jana Gana Man and Vande MAtram and offer him if he sing this daily he will get one hour exemption from hard physical work after every one year. On 26 Jan and 15 Aug show it live to whole world Kasab singing Indian NAtional Anthem. After 18 years leave him at Wagah border with Tiranga taotoeed at his forehead. Let him hate himself for all his life to what he has done and let the other wannabe terrorist see what will be done to them if got captured.
