Valthaty is a shocking selection :headshake: Manish Pandey hasnt done anything of note either in List A The India Green Squad. Except Cheeka Jr and T Suman, all other selections look fair enough even though Abu Nechim should have made the squad The India Red Squad. Jalaj saxena is a dumb move by the Selectors

Prepare for a serious backlash because he is one of ICF's big 3. You can bash Sehwag/Dhoni/SRT but not a word against Valthathy, Manish Pandey and Rahul Sharma on ICF. Your life is in danger.

IPL performances have to be seen in the backdrop of List-A and FC as well.

But if guys like Valthaty who ha shown some talent recently has not got any chances in their state team because of politics then what you say? Think about this aspect as well. There are quite a few players who has been the victim of politics. Remember how many Mumbai has performed like Valthaty in IPL, but it is not Valthaty's fault that he is not in any Mumabi team. Look at the guy Anwar Ahmed Khan we saw in Bucchi Babu Video, fast bowler, who had not played a single game for Hyderabad and is aged 23 already and if you see Hyderabad fast bowling, there is no single better fast bowler than him there. Politics play a huge role as well.

Delhi physiotherapist Badrinath Prathi praised several players for their fitness, and picked Sangwan for a special mention as the bowler seems to have learned from last year's experience. "This year, Sangwan is in much better shape than when he turned up for the preseason camp for the 2010-11 season. He has lost four to five kilos in the last few months. He has been in touch with me for some time," Badrinath told Mail Today. "Last year, his arms had become too bulky and that affected his movement in swinging the ball. He now looks slimmer and fitter. He is contracted with the Kolkata Knight Riders, but has returned to the camp and is shaping up well for the season." Sangwan's first opportunity to impress is the NKP Salve Challenger Trophy, beginning on October 10 in Nagpur. He has been included in the India Blue side. He will then turn out for Delhi in the north zone league of the Twenty20 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy starting on October 20 in Lahli, near Rohtak. Delhi begin their campaign with a match against Jammu and Kashmir the next day. Sangwan, who turns 21 in a month, had a few fitness-related issues last year. He faced a peculiar problem in lifting his right leg due to a troublesome lower back. He has overcome that problem, and is ready for a crucial season in which he is keen to make his presence felt. Despite his problems, Sangwan didn't do too badly last season in terms of number wickets, though he had to pay a rather high price for them. He was Delhi's fourth highest wicket-taker in the Ranji Trophy with 17 scalps at 33.58 in five games, after pacer Sumit Narwal (30 at 18.86 in six matches), left- arm pacer Pawan Suyal (22 at 23.81 in five) and left-arm spinner Vikas Mishra (18 at 21.05 in five). Badrinath is also happy with the improvement shown by pacer Parvinder Awana, who too had a few fitness issues last season, when Delhi failed to progress to the knockout round of the Ranji Trophy. The right-arm pacer had to leave the field in the game against Mumbai with a pulled back muscle. It turned out be the last match of the season for both Awana and Delhi as the team failed to advance to the quarter-finals. "Awana is also much fitter now.
