wilsondavid
I think they play very well, but sometime many player are outside of from. They are by far the best team in the world right now. They are the world's great personalities, but they are strong as a unit, and 11, all great mental / toughness and fighting abilities can be won in all situations. Link to comment
Dravid_TheWall
This thread should be in jokes section:hysterical: Well Ishant is a joke so yes it should be in jokes section along with you :cantstop: Ishant seems to think that the ball is an ornament. He should leave the ball to someone who knows how to use it :yay: Link to comment
Dravid_TheWall
Thank God' date= the selectors don't think like you. Ishant has taken around 125 wickets in 39 Matches. That's enough to get an automatic selection All hail the selectors, are you the selector's son :haha: Link to comment
India-KXIP fan
Sharma is like Broad was a while ago. He has height, bounce and pace (rare for Indian) maybe if he pitches up more often he will take more wickets. He will improve, hes only 23. On the other hand a little joker like Sreesanth is hardly gonna strike fear into the opposition. Link to comment
Old guy
how many matches has ishant played? lets take 40 so 80 innings 140 wickets thats not even 2 wickets per innings so if u play 4-5 bowlers and 20 wickets per match u need to pick atleast 4 per match or 2 per innings to be a average bowler no wonder we struggled to take 20 wickets and let me guess sreesanth is not much better? India-KXIP fan
someone in this thread is praising Sreesanth but the guy has an average over 30 in first class cricket. He is pathetic, hes almost at the level of the great Vinay Kumar who recently retired from tests. Give Ishant time. Zak wasnt so good at first was he? But later he became a world class bowler. Ishant also has a poor FC average but atleast you can tell he has the ability if he gets it right. Link to comment

Batsmen shake in their boots even thinking about having to face a bowler like Vinay, especially at the WACA where he can get the ball above waist height if he drops it short. Link to comment

Kerala speedster has bowled MATCH WINNING SPELLS in the seaming tracks of SA v top class batsmen and also taken 5 for in flat Lankan pitches. He needs a run, he has the talent and skill. He can be one of the worlds best bowlers and take on Steyn. Look at the praises he has won from Kirsten, Donald and Chappell. Ishant's best compliment is he is hardworking, tbh that is an insult, it's like saying you suck but have a good work ethic. Also to the person talking about stats, that doesn't tell your everything. Watch both of them bowl, see what opposition say, see the skill on display from Santh. He has talent in abundance but Mahi ruined our one true star bowler. He has best swing, seam and can bowl upwards of 145k if required, like when there is no swing.. Sree said he wants to hit 150k. Link to comment
India-KXIP fan
What Im trying to say is Ishant has potential he hasnt fulfilled, Sreesanth is probably at his peak. He is short, not as fast as Ishant and has lesser accuracy than Ishant. He is decent at best and that too in swinging conditions. Ishant by the time hes 25 will be a wicket taking lead bowler for India. He has height, pace and bounce. He will eventually take wickets just like Broad who found form recently. Just looking at Ishant you know hes got more in him, on the other hand watching a little midget steam in is only good because for its comedic value. Link to comment

He had a crippling toe injury on the England tour. I said this during this tour itself and posted here..the injury came to media attention after tour. Anyway none of other bowlers have ever demostrated they can bowl match winning spells against top opposition. Dhoni may not even be captain soon of the test team, this could help Sree and give him a 4-5 series run Can't believe you still defending a player like Ishant, look at his performance in Australia now and look at the Australian bowlers. SKILL>any other crap attribute of a bowler Link to comment
