Sehwag1830 Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 "Yes we overdid it, definitely. We got that balance wrong and it will be addressed. They have driven each other on and driven their standards higher and that's part of the strength of the group. But in this series we got it wrong," Flower told The Daily Mail. "I heard some of our younger players say that the sledging was an attempt to jog Indian players out of their comfort zone or something equally strange. That is not the case. That was not a team policy at all. We should take our role as role models seriously and I don't think our behaviour was up to scratch," he added. http://www.cricbuzz.com/cricket-news/46617/flower-says-england-overdid-sledging-in-india
Cricket Tragic Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 Dravid on CW and Sehwag on ICF. :cantstop:
Sehwag1830 Posted November 18, 2011 Author Posted November 18, 2011 I have not visited CW in last 5 months.
MCcricket Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 The only benefit of doubt I can give Andy is, publicly he made a stand during the tour, but English side was way off, tried to be like the Kangaroos, looked like fools, Indian team in general raise their game a notch when being dis respected, he was lucky there were no test's after the odi's in India otherwise he would've started thinking about his future plans the way things were going also he cannot control his players lol
Spiderguy252 Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 I bet Flower practiced the lines with his pupils. That team is the most mechanical one in history.
jairamesh Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Flower is a pĆĀŗssy, made by day when Kohli put Trott in his place. And loved that lumbering idiot, Finn's reaction, when he bowled Raina after being plonked all over the park, shows how vain some of these English players are especially when being thrown around the park like cheap drag dolls.
jairamesh Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 ^^ The England Team's mental capacity was apt illustration of having a team full of XI Sreesanths
Rightarmfast Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Andy baby, even if you did not sledge and even if you had your strongest team in India, the result would still be the same ! English just cannot "D"uckin play !!! They are just home bullies..And ODI, well it will take another 100 yrs for them to make any head or tail of this format of the game !
achilles Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 āIām very proud of our record and the way we conduct ourselves in international cricket,ā said Flower. MCcricket Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 As they say don't over estimate ur abilities and do not get overjoyed by things, England were super confident, behaved likes jerks. The fall might come unexpectedly for them, they are in no way a world beating or g8 side, but a decent one, a fully fit Indian side can beat em even in their home conditions and easily in India.
