Ultimate_Game Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 to be fair to latif he is talking sense... Azhar,Jadeja, Mongia,Praphakar all crooks were playing in that match i won't be amazed if that was fixed.... I am sure you won't... and I am sure you won't be amazed that India won the WC coz SL "threw" the final :haha: Amazed at Pakis' thought process - they wouldn't believe that players caught taking money and fixing matches on the camera were guilty, and believe guys like Riaz who actually took jacket full of money are innocent, but when an ex-player with an axe to grind comes up with a comment "I think such and such match was fixed" it's taken as gospel :cantstop:

Scotland yard did clear him though.... this has nothing to do with us, everyone knows the character of Azhar,Mongia and Jadeja there presence makes the match a little doubtful
Ultimate_Game Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Nothing has been proved regarding Riaz but still he is under investigation he hasnt done anything suspicious in his career ... Scotland yard did clear him though.... this has nothing to do with us, everyone knows the character of Azhar,Mongia and Jadeja there presence makes the match a little doubtful Just as I suspected... "Riaz hasn't done anything suspicious in his career" other than accepting jacket full of money from a bookie which was caught on camera :hysterical: But the India match was "fixed" just coz Azhar, Jadeja and Mongia were playing in that match. I am sure even the India-Pak Q/F was also "fixed" coz the same players played that game as well and Jadeja actually *****-r**d Waqar in that match :giggle: By the way what do you think about the 92 world cup coz known fixers like Saleem Malik and Wasim Akram, as per Qayuum report, played in that tourney. Now I understand why Eng "lost" the final when they had Pak out for 74 in a group game :hmmmm2:

I'm not saying it is fixed member of your team kambli is saying that so why not have a investigation?? You are an idiot where i have said Salim malik or Wasim are innocent birds. Regarding 92 i would just say that Imran was captain and my beleif is that fixing cant take place if a captain is honest

I am sure a word from Kambli or Sarfraz Nawaz means a lot more than evidence like video or audio tapes :giggle: And obviously I am an "idiot" because I don't share your "belief" that Malik, Akram etc. were absolutely honest :cantstop:

Where i have said that malik and wasim were honest... but in wahab's case no money was find in his room, no no balls of his were predicted so i doubt he was involved in anything, still investigation is going on would like him to go to jail if he is guilty, but i dont think he has done anything wrong so far. That video you are talking about is very in-conclusive ...

Yes, yes, yes I hear you... so Wahab is "innocent" because no money was recovered from his room even though he was caught on camera taking a jacket full of money from a bookie. Of course he couldn't have disposed off the cash some other way like giving to someone else on his behalf. Yup, the vido is "inconclusive" but what is "conclusive" is a statement from Kambli that he thinks the match could have been fixed :hysterical: I am beginning to see your logic... Pakis are pure and large-hearted folks who are innocent but it's the Indians who are the real culprits... after all hamari to "zehneeyat" hi aisi hai :giggle: No matter that Paki players are the ones caught with evidence whereas what you have to go against indian players is hear-say but who am I to say so as after all your "belief" is what matters and damn all evidence :cantstop:
Manny_Pacquiao Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 this has nothing to do with us, everyone knows the character of Azhar,Mongia and Jadeja there presence makes the match a little doubtful you are right. they played a lot of matches against pakistan in the 1990s. who knows how many matches pakistan must have won as a result of azhar and jaddu's match fixing. pakistan's coca cola cups record against india in the 90s is a little bit doubtful and those matches should be investigated

It has nothing to do with being Indian or PAkistani, there have been people of shoddy character like MAlik,Wasim, Ata-ur-Rehman,Asif Iqbal etc in PAkistan and same has been the case with India with people like Azhar,Jadeja, mongia,Prabhakar and when any of them is involved there is bound to be some doubt specially if there are strange things in the match like collapses.. I also have doubt over wasim why he didnt play that Quarter-final against India.Imran khan played the world world cup with a shoulder injury
Tiger80 Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Look at bright spot Kambli can now apply for the position of Pakistani coach

I am sure even the stuff that came out during Asif/Butt/Amir hearings where the bookie met with Butt and another player (other than the other 2 mentioned) and actually asked Butt "can we trust Majeed" is not evidence either. I wonder why Paki fans or PCB is not investigating further. Forget about investigating, Pakis were actually defending the players with all the evidence in the world and the players were actually convicted as they were caught in England else they would have been "innocent" :giggle: So yeah players like Riaz, Akmal etc. will always be "innocent" as there will never be any "proof". Hell, I will be surprised if PCB even sets up an inquiry into the same. But as for India the players were guilty and match fixed coz Kambli said that he thinks so :yikes: I am sure you "believe" that no other Pakistan player is guilty.

If he is not convicted by both then either evidence is in-conclusive or he is not guilty... I would wait until any final verdict is given by authorities on him
Ultimate_Game Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 PCB and ICC both are investigating Wahab for sure that is why he wasnt selected for LAnka ODIS... If he is not convicted by both then either evidence is in-conclusive or he is not guilty... I would wait until any final verdict is given by authorities on him If a player caught accepting cash on a camera from a convicted bookie is not enough proof, I don't think you will ever find a player guilty of match-fixing. If I apply the same yard-stick then Jadeja, Azhar etc. were not gulty either and the courts actually found the BCCI ban against them without any grounds and the ban was revoked. So let me ask you again... Player A/Team A: Caught on camera taking money from a convicted bookie and revelations made by bookie in a court of law that more players from the team were on his payrolls. Team B - A disgruntled ex-player makes an allegation "I think the match was fixed" without any evidence and proof. Which one do you think is "guilty"? Don't bother answering it as we need to "await verdict from authorities" regarding PlayerA/Team A, whereas Team B fixed the match as they were full of fixers  As for me if any of my team was found with as much evidence as against player A I can assure you that fans would be the ones gunning for his head and he wouldn't play for India ever again while we all know that we need to see what the "authorities' verdict" is on player A. I am sure you will be thrilled to watch Riaz and co. back in the team while rest of the world laughs at the team.

Regarding that video that is doubtful just shows a jacket full of money and then after some time shows wahab wearing a jacket not enuff to proof that he took any cash.... WAhab is under investigation anyway If he gets convicted throw him in Jail.... I am just saying such investigations should not be limited to PAkistanis only if a player of other team is accusing his team for that match it should be investigated
Ultimate_Game Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Regarding that video that is doubtful just shows a jacket full of money and then after some time shows wahab wearing a jacket not enuff to proof that he took any cash.... WAhab is under investigation anyway If he gets convicted throw him in Jail.... I am just saying such investigations should not be limited to PAkistanis only if a player of other team is accusing his team for that match it should be investigated I am not talking about throwing him in jail but surely there's enough evidence to kick him out of the team. Marlon Samuels was banned for 2 years on a far lesser evidence and so was jadeja. There was no tapes, money etc. ever found against him yet his career was finished. If you really think Riaz was "innocent" and there were only 3 players who were guilty of match-fixing when it was pretty clear based on the evidence that came out during the hearings that there were at least 5-6 players into fixing, you will never find anyone guilty. Hell, there was even claim by Majeed that he paid Asif lot of money coz he didn't want Asif to join other bookie group!!! That basically means there were separate bookie rings within the Paki team! And yet we haven't seen any PCB inquiry to unearth the truth. Forget about inquiry when NOTW released the evidence PCB and Paki fans actually said it was all "conspiracy" :hysterical: So far I haven't seen even one Paki body/spokesperson (from PCB, govt etc.) asking for an in-depth inquiry into the whole mess. And I guess the reason for the same is that they themselves know the s**t they are in as the inquiry will only throw up more skeletons and nearly the whole team will be implicated. And still you actually come here and want ICC/BCCI to investigate a match 15 years ago where there's no evidence other than one player's hearsay!!! If you are so adamant on seeking truth then you better raise awareness and demand inquiry into what's happening in Pakistan team. I guess it's time for you to get off from your high horse and face the truth.

Hur Rizvi Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Investigation should not be limited to Pak Players but you have to understand that there are so many ex players who will want to make career out of all this match fixing saga so claim of any lallu panju cannot be investigated unless he provide some solid evidence. I dont know if "Kambli" is lallo panju or not after all he was the member of that team and that alone asks a investigation to be done

MAzhar MAjeed's all words cant be accepted as truth he even said he had links with yuvraj and bhajji and also that Aussie players are involved in spot-fixing... that video is before even wahab debuted so there are questions to be answered you can not just enforce a life-ban on a player based on video that basically proves nothing moreover no money was find in his room and thats why scotland yard cleared him, where as all the money that was given by majeed to asif, amir or butt was found in the rooms, and majeed hasnt even said that he gave money to Wahab .... Asif,Amir and Butt were involved and they are in Jail which is the hardest punishment faced by any cricketer
Stuge Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Nothing has been proved regarding Riaz but still he is under investigation he hasnt done anything suspicious in his career ... Scotland yard did clear him though.... this has nothing to do with us, everyone knows the character of Azhar,Mongia and Jadeja there presence makes the match a little doubtful abe they were banned after 2000 for match fixing .tell me what you will do if you find that azhar was involved in match fixing regarding that particular match kambli is talking ? Eveyone here knows Azhar was a fixer . Do you know Azhar is a politician now ?lot of allegations by Kambli has to do with political scenario .It has put congress on backfoot .
