Sehwag1830 Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 "This is a former India player making a serious accusation and yet even Sharad Pawar in his capacity as ICC president has dismissed the issue outright which is strange," former captain Rashid Latif told PTI. "I don't see what is wrong in holding an investigation even if Kambli has come out with claims after 15 years. If there was no hanky panky in the match what has the BCCI or Pawar have to fear," Latif said. Pawar had earlier said that that if Kambli was a honest and committed cricketer, he should have told about everything he knew then, but he kept quiet. The BCCI also said that they didn't see any need to take the allegations by Kambli seriously and would not investigate his accusations. "Kambli today has come out in the open because now after our three players were jailed by a court there is renewed confidence that people responsible for fixing and corruption can be punished. In the past, different boards and authorities have tried to play down this serious problem and brush it under the mat that is why no cricketer had the confidence to come out if he knew something or suspected something," Latif said. http://www.cricbuzz.com/cricket-news/46674/pakistan-lashes-out-at-bcci-and-icc :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::haha::haha::haha::haha:
cricket_usa Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Ok. Whats next, Afghanistan going to lecture Norway about world peace?
Alchemist Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 For what ever reason, he makes sense. If BCCI has nothing to fear, why not do an investigation. With Azhar and his murky background, there is always a possibility of fixing.
Spiderguy252 Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Ok. Whats next' date=' Afghanistan going to lecture Norway about world peace?[/quote'] Switzerland to lecture New Zealand about shady banks.
Zap_Brannigan Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 the same rashid latif who picked up the ball from the ground and appealed for caught behind? Alchemist, BCCI did investigate but since India doesnt have a law against fixing in cricket, Azhar and his ilk couldnt be found guilty in a court of law. So the best they could do was ban these guys and end their career, which by the way was overturned by the Indian courts. If we give importance to every tom dick and paki attention ***** that comes up with these allegations, then BCCI's and ICC's only job would be to investigate players. If this happened in real life, then everyone in this world would be under investigation for made up stuff.
Rajiv Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Ok. Whats next' date=' Afghanistan going to lecture Norway about world peace?[/quote'] :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:

Sarkar Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 phir se bhokne lage pakistan waale. Hadd hogayi yaar. India ko neechey dikane ke liye kisi bhi had tak jaate hain
Show_stopper Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 And there goes their chance of a bilateral series down the drain.
Yoda-esque Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Yes- These delusional fools wont believe a NOTW recording but will take Kambli's word as gospel LL at its very best. They exist to hate us.They are because we are.
Cricket Tragic Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Atleast we got rid of the known fixers in the team.
rkt.india Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 But quite a few players played in that match were already banned by BCCI and that chapter was closed. No need to open that Golden Chapter again.
cricket_usa Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 I saw one deluded Paki posted that fixers in NOTW case may have took the money to help the flood victims.
bajrang Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 iska naam latif nahi ,latifa hona chaiye tha.
Hur Rizvi Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 iska naam latif nahi ' date='latifa hona chaiye tha.[/quote'] to be fair to latif he is talking sense... Azhar,Jadeja, Mongia,Praphakar all crooks were playing in that match i won't be amazed if that was fixed....
Rajiv Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Paks better shut up, as usual they are looking for excuses to pull India in. If kambli would have said he thinks Pak cheated in Aus, he would have been crucified but now he says against India, he is national hero and that sarphira nawaz should place himself in some mental hospital
