Yup our best against S.A was Azhar Mahmood and against Aussies our best was Ijaz ahmed i dont know what his average against aussies is but he did score many hundreds against them

Was a good player away from home though not as great as Sachin or lara but he deserves respect... I have seen some indians claiming srinath was better than waqar :P Inzi was more closer to be an ATG than Srinath or zaheer though.. There are people on both sides who overrate their players which is quite natural ...

Personally i always rated Saeed Anwar more highly than Inzamam but i was very close to watching cricket at the time.
Sid Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 Saeed Anwar was Pak most talented and skillful batsman in the 90s IMO,much better than the greatest phinisher.Fact of the matter is no one rates Aloo outside Pakistan.His case is similar to other Pak cricketers,a very good player hyped up as a great player by passionate fans.

ganeshran Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 Anwar's batting was more aesthetically pleasing than Inzi but I believe Inzi was the better of the two, especially in tests. Inzi had a touch of lazy elegance to his batting and his foot movement was impressive for someone his size. But an ATG - in the league of SRT, Lara and Ponting, he was not. I would place him along with Lady Jaya, Chanders and VVS.

Saeed Anwar was a great talent sadly could not recover after the tragedy of loosing his daughter... Talent wise he was ahead of inzi but inzi acheived more...

Well again when walsh and ambrose was their Inzi's average was 46.7 in westindies.Not great by any means.He feasted on Asia's Flat roads and against weak bowling.
