You are creating a false equivalence between trolling and having a difference of opinion. Both are entirely different. Trolling is when you repeat the same thing in n-different posts specifically to drive discussion towards something. Its when you imagine elaborate conspiracies and post them knowing that it will bait others and make them retaliate. Saying Dhoni made a mistake in selecting three spinners in a match affected by rain is a valid criticism and most people would agree. On the other hand, Saying Dhoni is motivated by an ulterior agenda and is biased against certain players is naturally a provocative opinion especially when there is no evidence to support the same. And then repeating the same thing in different words on every thread is called trolling.

We have different ways to look at things. We also have different ways of responding to things. What may be trolling to you, might be guts to some, anger to some and an expression of disappointment to someone else. This applies to everyone. We can differ on our opinions, interpretations and perspectives. That is fine with me. I'd like to once again say, lets move on and let go. :icflove:

Ganesh calls himself a moderator, he had earlier deleted my posts in a thread where I questioned Gunner's personal vendetta, PM'd me asking me to make my criticisms about moderation via PMs only and refused to answer any of my PMs. Worse, he didn't even delete Gunner's posts neither did he reverse the needless infraction Gunner gave me. Rajiv had to step in at that time. So if there is so much issue and trouble, why not stay away from my thread and posts if you disagree with me? See, the thing is, we take efforts to write what we do and so do Ganesh, Sid and others. So why not respect that? I know its just a forum and we can get angry at each other in the heat of the argument. But we must not forget that we should be good fellow members too. I know they might have something against us and we might against them. The point is, there needs to be tolerance, whether we agree with the other person or not. Else, don't talk. completely agree...i know how much pain i take to open threads using a old Nokia Mobile ..it feels very bad after 2 mins its vanished :winky: i dont think Ganesh is bad eventhough he ay have deleted couple of my posts... Agree with every thing except your example of dhoni not being biased.:hysterical::hysterical: Dhoni has different standards for his good buddies p.k,Jaddu,Kohli Praveen kumar has behaved badly with umpires many times but dhoni has not done anything and sreesanth did it and got mouthfull from dhoni in middle of the pitch. Jadeja after winning the odi series in india goes and abuses english players nothing said and sreesanth said it agianst smith and dhoni blasts him in press conference and kohli shows :finger: and mr dhoni supports him.So unless anybody is a dhoni fanatic its obvious he has favourite players and no wrong in that,But he is no saint .

It would add depth and variety to our bowling and take the pressure off Ashwin who I don't think is good enough to be the lead spinner. However, he can be quite a dangerous supplementary spinner, especially if there is a genuine turner of the ball such as Ojha at the other end. I think Yadav, Aaron, Pathan, Ojha and Aswhin are our bowling attack of the future. If Ishant can regain his form he can come in too but we need 2 genuine quicks (145+) and thats either Yadav and Aaron, or Yadav and Ishant, 1 genuine swing bowler (Pathan), 1 genuine turner (Ojha) and 1 craftier more defensive bowler (Ashwin).

Good points. Yadav and Aaron need to be fit and maybe we can have Ishant up his pace a bit too.

Ashwin is a disgrace. An average bowler who can bat a bit. his fielding and running between the wickets is absolutely pathetic. He should be kicked out, taking it easy now will come back to bite us in the **** big time.

Test all rounders are extremely rare. Ashwin's batting is ok, but not good enough to bat at 7.

PK was our best bowler on the last 2 overseas tours he played in - in England he was one positive in the tour. Nothing wrong with backing him. RP was brought in to replace zaheer because of his form in the last tour. Once he was found wanting and unfit, he was sent packing back to the domestic scene. Ishant is one case where everyone got it wrong. He has all the ingredients to be a successfull test bowler yet manages to mess it up. Has age on his side and thats why he got an extended run, which I now believe is over. The problem is that everyone wants many chances for their favorite players and the ones they dont like to be immediately dropped. But once a player gets in the team, he should be given a decent number of chances to prove himself not chucked out after a handful of poor performances. Sometimes players are given chances despite not playing very well based on their potential. Rohit Sharma for example - averaged in his 20s despite many games and was kept in the team for his talent - patience that is paying off now.
