It is same story everywhere players are now being picked on past performances and once they get that label of match winner they never get dropped hoping beyond hope that he would recreate that magic of past. when it would have been best for both player and team to drop that player and get him recharged. on side note why is Phil Hughes in the team and Katich out, want to hear Aussie fan's view.
Clarke and Katich don't get on. Even if Hughes is next to go, Khawaja will move up to open, Ponting to 3 and Dan Christian will slot in. That's while Shaun Marsh and Watson are out. Warner and Watson will most likely be the pairing unless they decide to lessen Watson's workrate and move him down the order.

whats the status of Marsh's injury? will he be fit for the test series against us?

Marsh should be fit for the Boxing Day test. In other news, Johnson's out for over 12 months.

whatever happen to Ben Hilfenhaus???
Bradman99 would know more, but I think he just wasn't good enough on Australian pitches. He had success in England (not surprising given his style) but wasn't as much of a threat elsewhere.
