Fascinating stuff (at least to me).

You understand genetics (or biology) much more than most of us. In short, GM technology and organic principles are perfectly compatible. There is not a shred of peer-reviewed scientific evidence that GM technology is bad for people or the environment. Will try to write a thoughtful response next week. In the meantime, see if you can watch Michael Specter's TED talk on denying science. It is linked on the TED talks thread. It serves as a great primer.
