Sehwag1830 Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 The BCCI has moved on its decision to scrap the broadcast rights deal with Nimbus Communications by asking it to stop providing the live feed of the Ranji Trophy on Neo Cricket. This is the first direct fallout of its decision on the rights deal, understood to have been taken on Monday but not yet formally made public by the BCCI. http://www.espncricinfo.com/india/content/current/story/545425.html
chainsmoker Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 What the f !! Have they made an alternate arrangement for the coverage of domestic matches? If not, then how dare they
Magneto Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 What the f !! Have they made an alternate arrangement for the coverage of domestic matches? If not' date=' then how dare they[/quote'] How dare you question BCCI? They are the baap of ICC, above all laws.
Old guy Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 see now this is wht i hate the most they get all the money cos we watch matches.. they are strongest board cos of people in india and now people who love cricket wont even be able to watch domestic matches cos of some payment issues.. sigh
Manny_Pacquiao Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 if nimbus arent allowed to broadcast indian cricket, then surely that's the end of their tv channel? they show other sports, but almost all of the programming is cricket-related. hard to see the channel existing if they can't broadcast indian cricket. or they will just be stuck making losses with bongladesh matches that nobody watches.
Sir john Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 Nimbus have bangladesh cricket matches tv rights.there world series hockey also get delayed.
Sachin=GOD Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 If they have cancelled Nimbus's agreement then its right on their part to ask Nimbus to stop cricket coverage. Its bad for cricket fans who want to watch Domestic cricket but BCCI is not wrong in this matter.
Old guy Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 you guys do watch all the ranji matches ? some of them..i first saw yadav i think in irani trophy telecast lol (not sure) its always interesting to see new bowlers, batsmen
Magneto Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 you guys do watch all the ranji matches ? Yeah. We love to see our flat tracks and spot the Super-FTBs and Super-Trundlers of the future who we can debate on. We basically 'catch them young' and finish their careers on this forum even before they have faced/bowled a ball on the international stage.
kabira Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 Nimbus and BCCI have long term relationship..*****ing ego of BCCI, this could have been sorted in amicable manner.
Magneto Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 Nimbus and BCCI have long term relationship..*****ing ego of BCCI' date=' this could have been sorted in amicable manner.[/quote'] When a long-term relationship gets screwed up, there is no repair :winky:
chainsmoker Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 Yeah. We love to see our flat tracks and spot the Super-FTBs and Super-Trundlers of the future who we can debate on. We basically 'catch them young' and finish their careers on this forum even before they have faced/bowled a ball on the international stage.[/QUOTE] :hysterical::hysterical: Really, this is what happens actually. There is a forum on Faizal Dhudat already. Well, that guy looks promising but has only played 3 first class games and he has become superstar on icf. I appreciate that thread opener rkt passion, that he keeps all the insight of the domestic players that much. But, now we have no source to watch domestic watches :((
chainsmoker Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 you guys do watch all the ranji matches ? Not all the matches but we keep the updates of the upcoming players
Magneto Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 On a serious note, RKT does a great job of tracking them and bringing them to our notice for discussion.

chainsmoker Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 Yes he is. He seems to be the backbone of icf. Everybody admires him for his knowledge of new upcoming talents
