The Indus Valley civilization is just a continuity of Indian civilization for thousands of years. There is no separate Indus Valley civilization as has been taught in schools. The European belief was that there was an Indus valley civilization which was invaded by Aryans (later changed to migrated by Aryans, further later changed to slow trickle down by Aryans) and these Indus valley dwellers were driven to the south. There was no such invasion. Indus valley, actually it should be called thr Saraswati valley civilization always existed as part of Bharatvarsha's civilization and was part of the Uttarpatta region of India. A lot of its area was under what were known as the Kashmir Empires back then. People left that place and migrated to NorthWest, East and South since the 300 year drought dried up the Saraswati year between 2100-1800 BC If we dont teach historical facts just because some people dont like it then why do we even need to invest in science. Every scientific discovery offends one or the other religious group. So do we stop science? If science shows us that the indigenous recorded history of India is true then do we stop scientific inquiry?
Do you think that the humans existed during the times of Laurasia and Gondwana ?

For me or any hiostorian. Indus valley is one of the very detailed archeological evidence.. We can not study it because of Pakistan. We will be lucky if Pakistani government keeps good care of it till our relations normalise. Any further evidence or theory (Older civilisation) has to be supported by Indus valley. If there is a clue the first clue will be there...... One example is Mayavati/Mulayam/Rajnath and likes are ruling UP for past 20 years on the back of cast/religion and not on basis of political view..... Within what we know, Anybody with very lil common sense will ask himself If Magadha was so rich why south only has more exquisite temples? Brother, BJP came to power(Nationwide) just by fuelling Ram Janma Bhumi issue..

Your mixing things here. Let me clarify it for you... a. What you think is Indus Valley civilization is possibly your belief that there was a a civilization around 1500 BC which was attacked by invading nomadic Aryans from outside India b. That is the misplaced notion. I am not saying there wasn't a "civilization" that existed in the Indus valley. c. In fact the larger civilization existed in the Saraswati valley. There are not less than 2500 towns excavated along the banks of the dry bed of the Saraswati right from Kashmir to Kutch. d. That "civilization" is these days being popularly called Indus-Saraswati Valley civilization e. People always existed there for more than 7,000 years f. It is not a civilization that is different from the Indian civilizaiton g. But during the rise of Brahminism between 3000 BC - 1800 BC people who did not follow Brahminism were thrown out of mainland India h. These people settled in the northwestern parts of India. They were referred to as "Mlechhas" i. Even the townships found in Harappa and Mohenjodaro are odler than the supposed 1500 BC timeline I hope that clarifies things. If it still doesn't then you may wanna read this article http://micheldanino.voiceofdharma.com/indus.html This will give you more scientific evidences of how the Saraswati was rediscovered with the help of satellite imagery, etc http://www.eshiusa.org/Articles/Saraswati%20in%20Hindu%20Civilizational%20History%20and%20Culture.pdf Some more about them and especially including mention of these evidences in mainstream media- http://www.stephen-knapp.com/recent_research_on_the_sarasvati_river.htm And just in case you would prefer a video - uKyn3FDaTYc ps: I dont care about BJP's agenda or what they are about. I am bothered about my country's true history and since you have brought up one political party let me tell you no other political party is responsible to fu
