Brett Lee in his Autobiography titled 'MY LIFE' has mentioned the events leading upto the Monkey Gate fiasco,adding Bhajji patted him on the back after digging out a yorker as an appreciation, SYMMO thought this as a needle , also compounded by bad umpiring , over sledging, Aussies trying to put India under the pump. Ponting was a dirty captain he had assigned henchmen Symmo, Haydos to do his dirty work, hopefully they learn from here and Clarke plays the game in the right spirit, u win the game with bat and ball not ur mouth, in my view India won the last series in OZ, we were cheated by the blatant umpiring, oz fielders claiming catches.I did not have much respect for Ponting as a player they played and acted as Hyenas,Lee,Gilchrist, Hussey, and a few other players are sporting though.Worst offenders being McGrath, Hayden, Symmonds,Ponting.:bumsmack:

I heard in the commentary today when Tom Moody and Dada were on air, Moody mentioned that it seems Michael Clarke has WARNED his players not to cross the line this time around. He told his team to behave themselves and not to cross the line or conduct themselves overtly aggressively. The irony of it all was that when Tom Moody was saying this on air, Ishant had bowled a peach to Siddle. My initial reaction was that it was out. But anyway Ishant in his follow through made what seemed like a friendly comment to Siddle. Seeing this Haddin walks more than half way down the pitch and exchanges words with Ishant as he is walking back to his run up. It was just pure irony!
