To be honest, even I thought the same prior to this tour. But that collapse in the first innings at MCG confirmed to me the batting malaise was still just as strongly present - in England we used all sorts of excuses like lack of preparation, injuries, strength of the opposition but here a full strength side, with adequate preparation and against an opposition that just lost a Test to New Zealand is getting as mercilessly pummelled - this team is total trash and no mistake.
