amiret Posted January 4, 2012 Author Posted January 4, 2012 When Fatty Jessy Ryder scores a Mcdouble against your team you know your team is bowling like a toilet That was a good batting pitch even though we were forced to follow on we managed to muster a draw. But no doubt India has been the easiest team to score a Big hundred against in the last 3 years.
yadhav500 Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 + threat to SriLanka's record No difference. Still it will be against India. :two_thumbs_up:
bulbul Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 Yeah I kinda hope someone breaks Lara's record AND wins the match. Always thought Sehwag would do it to be honest' date=' and i still hope he does. Cant say I can really see Clarke getting there, just doesn't sit well with me for some reason, thought Cook would get close but choked in the 290's![/quote'] Viru will break the record in Sidney test itself :winky:

bear23 Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 it is quite possible. I think australia will declare before that.
Jersey #10 Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 Viru will break the record in Sidney test itself :winky: When? on the sixth day?

yadhav500 Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 hey rob, are u the same guy who posts a lot of crick videos in youtube? He is. Appears in a lot of cricketing forums all over the world under the same name as well.
bulbul Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 When? on the sixth day? we are talking about Viru not Sachin :--D
zep1706 Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 Our bowlers get deflated if things don't go their way. They give up too easily. This + Pathetic captaincy
Aussie-r-best Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 I have mentioned that in post #12. when i consider the time period between 2001-2007 when Dhoni was NOT the Captain . India is at number 6. So it has become easier for opposition batsmen to score 150 + against India under Dhoni's captaincy. Very compelling case  I don't think MSD is a test captain - good int he ODI and maybe the hit and giggle but he doesn't get it when it omes to the real game - tests
21cent Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 The way Indian bowling is looking, the only thing that can stop Clarke from getting to 400 is the declaration. If Oz's bat out the third day then Clarke will definitely get his record and the SL record will probably be broken as well.:haha: They might as well bat all day, I am pretty sure the FTB Indian line up will fold in a day, worse case scenario for Oz is if India does not fold until lunch of 5th day.:hysterical:
gaurav92 Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 I hope he bats the whole day today and declare just 10-12 overs before the day's play.
Dhoni_fan Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 If he passes 334 then I'd back him to get it! Even though Hayden got 380 the Aussies have an obsession about not passing 334 as it's don bradmans best score! Mark Taylor once declared behind it so as not to surpass him
amiret Posted January 5, 2012 Author Posted January 5, 2012 It is staggering that in the last 3 years the number of 150 + scores against India is greater Than the number of 150 + scores against India in the 6 year period from 2001-2007 And we have had a so-called golden run in the last 3 years where we have been ranked #1.
vijay50 Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 Clarke 400 Congrats Clarke. You are getting there by beating this spineless Indian team. Well done.
