If they pick a second keeper, they should let Saha stay over. PP has had his chances and has failed to take it. 21 ODIs last year, with just 495 runs@24, all of them as an opener in the side. Saha has been with the team on a couple of tours without getting a game and should be tried out in the ODIs too.

And why Shouldnt SRT play? Is he in some bad form that he should be ignored ? Who helped India win the finals last time around in Australia ? SRT will be a better bat compared to likes of Rahane , Gambhir and that ftb Sehwag which easily justifies his selection as an opener.

Only reason that hasn't happened until now is Saha's batting. Frankly the Pappu obsession should have ended by now. I would rather hide Saha in the batting order (if needs be) and promote Irfan, Ashwin etc rather than have the baby wasting everyone's time opening.
