The Outsider Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 From Tendulkar's viewpoint what has changed from the series in SA that you specifically claimed so assuredly that he was playing only for his 100? Hang on for that thought for a moment, though I know it's been days since you posted it. You are calling me a troll, when the only answer you gave to my genuine questions was a question of your own? But, I'll be the nice guy and answer the question you asked - what has changed is that the WC has been won and Tendulkar played a fitting part in the campaign. At this point we have two conjectures: 1. Tendulkar would still be available for the next WC - what is going to gain by playing an ODI series ahead of Rahane, who would gain gain valuable experience of batting on foreign tracks against a tough attack. 2. Tendulkar would retire somewhere mid way in the pursuit of 2015 - why persist with him over the actual people who will be representing India 3 years later? Just enjoyment of the game and winning CB series is not important enough - in ODI cricket the ultimate trophy is the WC and we will be the defending champions.
DeadMan Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 India is going to win a cup in Australia :two_thumbs_up:
Rameshraja17 Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 When it comes to pacers selection - Zaheer and Praveen will definitly be in playing 11. Interesting to see who dhoni picks out of Umesh / irfan / Vinay.:nervous: I would love to see Rahul sharma in one of the matches atleast , he impressed me a lot in his prev match against WI.

No harm accepting it gracefully. Whether it's high-level, mid-level or low-level trolling, that might be decided by a 'poal'. Trolling anyway contributes to half the interest of any active online forum. P.S. Rahane might not even be in the scheme of things for a world cup that's gonna happen aeons later. The CB series is the immediate thing to take care off, and we should do that with the best team available.
