Why separate yardstick for Tendulkar

Sachin has still not retired from ODIs. He always plays ODI out-side the sub-continet with top teams. He did that in SA too. Why this sudden question before this particular series? did Sachin say he will never play ODIs? Did Sachin say he has retired from ODIs? Then what gave you reason to believe he will not play ODIs this series? Please answer, I am really confused

Because before that we were planning for 2011 world cup so him nitpicked series he wanted to play didnt matter as he will be playing in the world cup anyway.But now we should be planning for 2015 world cup for which he will not be playing. So its time we moved on from him.If Rahane had been selected for these ODIs instead of Sachin he would have gained valuable experience of playing in Aus conditions which would have been great fro India considering we have 2015 world cup in Australia. Sachin should have retired gracefully after we won the world cup considering his age.What exactly is the benifit of him continuing in ODI when he will be 43 by the time next world cup comes.But seeing he doesnt want to then he should be dropped the same way Dravid and Ganguly were dropped 4 years ago.Team comes before everyone.

I knew worms like you were just hiding under rocks, waiting for him and the team to fail before coming up with such slanderous and libelous accusations Even in this series when people were accusing him of playing for his 100, he has been better than Laxman and Dravid. You sir, are the one who should be ashamed of your accusation of a player who has gone to the extent of playing after his father's death, playing with the utmost of pains in many situations, just for the team's sake. Yep . Any other selfless person in that situation would have spend more time with his family , atleast a week more with those who were mourning over the loss of their beloved one but this Selfish Midget quickly ran away after performing the last rites of his father because he wasnt ready to miss out on an easy opportunity to make loads of runs against Kenya thereby extending his meaningless runs tally .
