ali0786 Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 u lost series after 10 years where as we won series in 2007 Good for you. What happened the last time you toured them?
Utalk Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 u lost series after 10 years where as we won series in 2007 Bit of history lesson for you kid. We were unbeaten in Eng for 24 years. We lost 2-1 in 82. We won in 87, 92 and 96, We drew in 2001. We lost in 2006. 82-2006 is not ten years.
deathmonger Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 I'm going by my memory here' date=' but Pak never lost a series in Eng in the 90's. I think we lost a series in Eng in 2006 after 15-20 years.[/quote'] Pak wins in England - 87, 92, 96 Ind - 71, 86, 07

Utalk Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 Pak wins in England - 87, 92, 96 Ind - 71, 86, 07 Spot on. I don't know why we keep fighting. Enjoy the sport. We had two invincible teams in last 30 odd years. Rest had their moments but never really sustained it.

ali0786 Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 Not invincible' date=' but pretty good.[/quote'] I think he meant the invincible teams of Australia and West indies in last 30 years, and the rest of the teams like Pak and Ind had their moments. Or at least that's what I think he meant.

Pakistan Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 overall record of india v eng and pak v eng - won same number of series in england 90's was an era u were a laughing stock - didn't lose a single home series while you lost to england, australia, sri lanka (twice), zimbabwe etc. Fact as Don Rafa would say.
deathmonger Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 Fact as Don Rafa would say. Doesn't change my above statement. Where did I say India was better. I said Ind and Pak have won same number of series. Which is true. Also Pak lost lots of home series which is also true. Is any of my above posts refuted by your stats page?
Sarkar Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 Bit of history lesson for you kid. We were unbeaten in Eng for 24 years. We lost 2-1 in 82. We won in 87, 92 and 96, We drew in 2001. Sarkar Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 Good for you. What happened the last time you toured them? And what happened to your team did u win the series ?
Pak_Fan_4_Eva Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 And what happened to your team did u win the series ? We won away matches against Aus and Eng with fixers in our team. Something you never remotely looked like doing. Can't wait for the 2nd Test to start. Thankfully, I'll be at home at last by the time it starts:yay:
Utalk Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 1996 -2006 is 10 years gap read series draw is not a loss unless u wana count it as a loss. Read again. Poster you were replying said we lost in Eng after 15-20 years in 2006. You said it was ten 96-2006. I say again we lost in Eng in 2006 after 24 years. We won three and drew one series there in 24 years.
