It does appear that the cricket board bigwigs are preparing to field a young team for the next Test series which is more than six months away. "We won't mind a new team, but the board will certainly take some corrective measures after such a pathetic tour," another source said. BCCI vice-president Rajiv Shukla told reporters, "Our players have not performed overseas in the last two series and we are worried about this. Sometimes, players do not do well. There is no question of blaming (anyone), but corrective measures will be taken after the tour."

Blah blah blah. If the likes of Srinivasan, Pawar etc. weren't fighting to get power of the cash cow that is Indian cricket with zero regard to the actual infrastructure and development of Indian cricket, we wouldn't have become a minnow team in Test cricket as we have over the past months. As much as the Indian players are to blame (and they sure are), their sins are nothing in comparison to N Srinivasan and the rest of these morons.
