Depends on the pitch - think to the Bombay test against Australia when Clarke and Karthik were the top bowlers or to the '87 pitch against Pakistan when Qasim was bowling his fast turners.
Yes..depends on the surface as well, Karthk and Clark too were bowling quick. Spinning the ball like Warne and Murli is a gifted talent which every one does not possess and if some one does not have it, it is better to concentrate on accuracy and varying the pace and beat the batsman through pace variations. Ajmal is neither a big turner of the ball nor his doosra turns a lot, but he is difficult to read and assess because of his start-stop action and bowls with accuracy and vary his pace as well. SRT was clueless against him in WC.
