For the first time in their history judiciary has held its ground against army. Bogus reference against chief justice gets dropped and he hopefully gets reinstated. Whole pakistan will remain indebted to a Kafir acting chief-justice Rana Bhagwandas for this collosus event in their checkered history.

Yep. Good stuff. Hopefully the Pakistan Judicial Services will take a cue from their Press and toe a line completely independent of who is in power. Good to see this development. Also would be interesting to see if this turns the CJ into a political figure or would be return to his judicial career?

A democratic Pakistan' date= with minimal Army interference, is best for them and us. Grow and let us grow.
Democratic Pakistan without army at the helm attacked us 4 times(counting Kargil). Think about it , May be it is in our better interest to have their army running the show !

Recently Mushy banned a book The Pakistan Army Inc. which gave details of how army is well anchored in every walk of pakistani society. That book is available online somewhere free, please do have a look.

Most probaably bhagwan name sindh govt cud nto stomach as prospective chief justice of sindh high court that's why they transferred him to supreme court where he was not the most senior hence cud not get to become chief justice little did they know what was in store. Bhagwan das ended up being supreme court's CJ instead of sindh court:thumbs_up:

Good to see. A strong judiciary is the foundation of democracy.. Going a bit OT, but this is the very reason the US attorney firing is such a big deal in the US. Bush, Cheney & Co have weakened the roots of democracy in the US by introducing cronyism and corruption at the judiciary.
