Watching spinners around the world, there are many you would be conserned facing well ahead of Ashwin... India's spinners are behind the English and Paki spinners in quallity But you still sucked against VK B-> What can be more embarassing than this?

I am saying the reasons and excuses used change more than the wind and there are more of them than I have had hot meals... For weeks Sehwag has been lambasted and blamed for poor results, and in many respects rightly so, he has delivered nothing on tour he rarely if ever does against Australia in Australia - he is th epitome of FTB.... Now after one game out of the side rested, its Dhoni you fool how is Sehwag out, he would have saved us... On what basis is that chestnut got any merit... dreamland Then there's the blame dhoni because the bowlers cant bowl a decent line or length or bowl with any consistency (Dhoni clearly holds the ball and bowls for these chumps), or because the batsmen continually play dumb shots and have no care (because Dhoni holds the bat and swings for these guys) is or that the fielders misfield because of Dhoni (cause he sets up players to play London Bridge over the ball consistently.... The MAIN REASON which none will accept is the players... they are not up to it outside India

The only thing I can think of as more embarrassing woold be losing a shortened ODI (shortened to 30 overs) by 80 odd runs..... Yep how would lose like that, which minnow is it..... I don't think there is a problem with ZK and Yadav other than injury/need for rest. The way MSD is presenting the case is that Irfan would get lashed harder than Ash/Jaddu. He is not perfect, but I'm pretty sure India would be better off with him on a seaming wicket...

It is fair, I think the spreading of blame game to game is a bit kneejerk but is indicative that there are a few problems with Indian cricket.

A short match is always a 'hit or get out' type of match. It does not matter you lose by 5 runs or 100 runs. Otherwise, we can definitely bat for 32 overs and score personal milestones
