:omg: What makes you think so  By the way I will take us being bowling powerhouses over batting juggernauts anyday as bowlers win you more matches.
lets see umesh is there.. dinda is impressive (this season he is rocking) and is no tundler zack would be there for atleast 1 more year.. pk is stedy aaron has potential no way bowling power house.. but maybe a decent bowling line under construction there is talent too in nechim and other domestic bowlers but by no means finished products we will never be a bowling powerhouse our main strength is batting and honestly in 2 years we will be batting power house once again :P

Umesh is talented but has to improve a lot. Zak's days are numbered and if you are relying on him to make us a bowling powerhouse you are sadly mistaken. Dinda hasn't done anything and again he is not going to take us to the promised land. As for Aaron I don't see why people are so obsessed over him. Against WI he looked quite ordinary and didn't even have much pace bowling in 130s most of the time. I don't see us being even a decent bowling lineup, forget about being a powerhouse.

Bro...You are rating Pathan to high as a batsman right now. He is not good with bat nowadays' date=' did not play a single good inning even in Ranji, you are expecting him to play international fast bowlers. The way he batted against WI in ODI was really eye opener.[/quote'] Maybe it is nostalgic...he was my favourite player back in the day and was a great hitter from the off. To be honest I am not thinking much differently from you (in the other thread). Irfan is far from perfect but he is the only all-rounder who bowls seam. If you have that in the squad in Australia, he has to be used. On such pitches, he is not completely disadvantaged like Jadeja etc. But I will admit I have not seen him bat in ages.

It just looks like your batsmen have absolutely no confidence to bat in these conditions against the OZ bowlers, let's see what happens against Sri lanka who are supposedly a weaker team than India.
