ludhianvi
I think for Laxman to be successful, he needs to bat higher up the order, preferably at number 3. But all the slots are taken at the moment. Its almost as if he needs someone else at the other end to motivate him. Link to comment
The Outsider
Laxman is a better batsman than Ganguly. I have no clue why he is not playing at 5. Link to comment
observer1
Yuvraj would probably have lasted less number of balls than Dhoni did today. He would have been c.Collingwood b.Anderson. But, it is likely that he would have had, by that time, stroked a streaky 4 through gully. I dont think he can cut it in test matches - he is far 'too loose' outside off. Link to comment
Gambit
Laxy should come in at 5 4th innings. He needs to be given more time to build his innings. Link to comment
Captain of Bhangra
Overrated wusses CoB. Bunch of wa.nkers who all play for themselves. Look at the SR of Ganguly & Laxman, pathetic really, spending so much time at the crease without making it count. RPS, Kumble had better SR Laxman must either be booted out or bat higher. He has no clue how to bat with the tail. We soo badly miss sehwag. No Bumper, that is one decision I respected. Sehwag wouldn't have lasted an over. They are all gutless, Sehwag is the only one that's paid the price for it. Problem is though, who can replace them? We really are in the sh1t. Best I can see is getting Yuvraj in for someone, however, I don't have much faith in him in Test cricket either... Link to comment
Captain of Bhangra
Yeah' date=' we just keep complaining about batsmen who are not in the team and when they are they perform the same way as the batsmen they replaced. Accept it, they are all $hit Sehwag, Yuvraj the whole lot.[/quote'] Truer words were never spoken... Link to comment
