Well, it could just be Gambhir being his usual belligerent self - not one for holding back this dude :winky: However, it wouldn't be a great surprise if there was some tension between the two. After all, Dhoni's Test captaincy credentials have been shredded after the consecutive humiliations and Gambhir would have been a great chance of becoming Test captain but for his horrendous Test form over the last couple of years.
peterparker Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 there was a difference..when kohli was batting, the pressure piled up..but when rohit sharma game, the partnership was brisk..and the pressure had gone actually...and that pull shot was amazing..this rohit sharma would be an indian batsman who would hit fast bowlers..the other indian batsman were better in managing fast bowlers..not hitting their balls..even sachin is not the best player of fast bowler..he was better in managing them..

And good to see that rotation is being done with all players, I'm sure Sachin also would be backing it. All these hooplas from ex-cricketers over Sachin's "dropping" is ridiculous. They were complaining when seniors weren't dropped and now when youngsters are getting chance they are going after team management for resting Sachin.

To be fair to Gambhir, what he said was absolutely correct. But making a public statement clearly shows all is not well in the team.

Big hits in the end should be last resort if you are really chasing humongous total and lastly it could have well easily ended up with Jadeja and a tailender slugging it out (knowing very much that Jadu is not a big hitter ).That makes me believe that Jadu should come before Raina & Dhoni.
