Let us not forget Raina's contribution as well. The guy had become the enemy of the nation was Sachin was 'rested' for his sake. In the end he justified the team management's faith in him. IMO it was absolutely the right decision to include Raina as we need to know whether he can cope on these pitches, otherwise there is no point in persisting with him when get back to subcontinental pitches...plenty of other youngsters waiting in the wings. As for Sachin there will be plenty of opportunities to get to the 100th 100.

Dhoni stepped up when it mattered but still a bit concerned about his lack of singles when starting off. Kohli and Sharma threw away promising starts. I'm a tad worried about our bowling actually. We should have been chasing 250. Maybe give Zaheer a rest and play Pathan (it would strengthen our batting too). Other than that, solid effort from India.
