Do you agree with India adopting rotational policy ? THat's what I feel as well.Management will need to decide who they want to play either Sehwag or Sachin .

Play all 3 like the World Cup. Sachin , Sehwag opening and Gambo coming 1 down . Raina , Jadeja , Ashwin and Pathan make up for too many bits and pieces players in the Side and one of them can be easily dropped to accomodate all three Sach , Sehwag , Gambo into the side . Also Rohit Sharma should be dropped for Tiwary . Why this rotation policy be restricted to only the openers ?

Its fine atm. Because there are still lot of matches remaining. Come crunch time, I would like them to choose between Sachin and Sehwag. Obviosuly it will be Sachin.

Sehwag deosn't look like scoring more than 20-30, Sachin is under too much pressure to score that 100, so yeah keep rotating the two of them. GG cant be rested now as he is the form batsman. In general I do agree with the rotation policy, gives the younger batsmen the opportunity to play in such conditions, unfortunately neither Rohit nor Rohit have been consistent so far, throwing away good starts. Both of them need to be pushed down the order with MSD at 4.

I doubt Gauti would be dropped. Sachin may be rotated with Sehwag. And it's good in a way. Both are not bringning anything new to the table and we are also playing all the youngsters.

I think they decided to follow the policy throughout the league matches, regardless of the results. So, Sehwag will come back to join Sachin. But, in the finals they must choose the best XI, based on the league performances.

this was the perfect game for sehwag to play.... easy track, sh1t pace attack, no bounce, he could have scored plenty or at least given a fast start, but noway he should play at gabba nd hobart

So will we "rest" Gambhir now? As per rotation policy it's Gambhir's turn to be rested in favor of Viru "no brains" Sehwag and Sachin "99 hundreds" Tendulkar. With Gambhir and Dhoni our best batsmen in the series will the team management rest Gambhir after 2 consecutive 90s which probably is the reason why India is well placed in the tourney so far. Even in CB tri-series in 2008 Gambhir was our best batsman and scred over 400 runs in that series against the same opposition - Aus & SL  I would love to hear how the team justifies dropping the only batsman in form on this tour :giggle:
