Tendulkar run out in contrast with David Hussey Not Out - Merged

This is nothing new. Australians have never shown that they have a conscience... while we Indians have always shown that we are emotional and sensitive. So I am not surprised with Dhoni's comments. Even Mark Taylor had said it was atrocious that David Hussey was not given out. As far as Bret Lee... what a cheat stunt by him! .. Clearly he had no business running to his right and stopping dead in the way of Tendulkar who would have SURELY made it had he not lost that 1 or 2 seconds in trying to avoid Lee... The STUPID commentators then said that Tendulkar never dived to the crease.. WELL HELLO!!.. you need to get a good running start and momentum to dive.. you CANNOT dive immediately after your momentum is throttled. We Indians when we get emotionally hurt.. our performance suffers all around.. I wish we were more stone hearted and arrogantly aggressive like the Aussies.. but oh well. We will ***** slap them around the next time they visit India.

I have said this before and I'll say it again. ICC rules are as ridiculously controlling as the government of these nations.. namely UK and Australia.. where government burdens their citizens with too many rules and penalties and taxes. There is no Libertarian ideology in their countries.. and they depend on their government to tell them what to do and what not to do. The same shows in their RIDICULOUS rules and CONTROLLING/PENALIZING nature in Cricket. How dare they suspend Dhoni because he was a bit late in finishing up his overs!!! It's not like Dhoni was strolling in the park! Sometimes things take a bit more time than expected and **** happens!..This is not frigging Kindergarten and we are not kids where they need to punish us so severely if a stupid rule is crossed! The POWER of the game needs to get BACK to the players.. NOT some fat suit whose only job is to cook up stupid rules and penalize players if they are broken.

Whoever ( Lee/Watson ) says that Lee did not block the path intentionally - should read a thing about 'peripheral vision' - and international level athletes have highly developed peripheral vision. There is a documentary by Discovery ( or may be Nat-Geo) under the series/title - "Sport Science". Hint/e.g. - how common/easy is it in Basketball, American-Handball etc.. to see passing w/o even looking at the team-mates.

I wonder why the umps didn't ask Aussies to "reconsider" the appeal or decide to call it not out the way they called Hussey not out after handling the ball. Looks like the umps simply want to go against India be it Thirimanne incident, Mike Hussey being given out by 3rd ump and then called back, Hussey handling the ball and still being deemed not out (I would love to see why umpires ruled him out as the law clearly states he was out), or SRT being blocked by Lee and run out. I am sure Lee decided to stop right in SRT's path by "accident" :haha:

Are they going suspend the cheating Hussey? and/or the Umpires? for bringing the game into disrepute? Time for BCCI to flex it's muscles abit.
I would love to hear umpires' view on why they decided to rule Hussey not out

In other sports, especially Tennis and Football, mistakes by referees in applying rules leads to suspensions for them. Surely these umpires need to suspended for 1 match for bringing the game into disrepute by totally blatantly going against a written rule. The Aussie will call it whining, but it's a matter of principle. I really hope Dhoni keeps bringing it up every time. I will sure as hell do my part by labelling David Hussey now a cheating sissy. Cheating Sissey.

So much crying, its pathetic. How about batting, bowling, fielding and running between the wickets better? The entire world is laughing its ass off at every press conference this joker Dhoni gives, biggest whinger since the English learned to talk. TOUGHEN UP PRINCESS.

What a cliché response that it's patheic. So cheating = toughen up, like I said before, Australia, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka are in their own league when it comes playing in the "spirit of cricket". Dirty is name of the game for these teams.

Answer simple question. Do you think beyond any doubt that Sachin would have been out if Lee had not blocked his way? Do you think blocking a player is part of game like NFL? If not then shouldn't Australian have taken their appeal back? Lee did that intentionally or not is immaterial in context. Australians should have done something like this. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AsznuSW-1Ug]Paul Collingwood Run Out Incident - YouTube[/ame] But they preferred to do something like this: [ame=
on Ryan Sidebottom collides with Grant Elliott, - YouTube[/ame] In this case, umpires had atleast asked Collingwood if he wants to withdraw his appeal. But in today's case there was no such thoughtfulness from umpires.Though I don't think if umpires had asked s0, these cheaters would have agreed. But atleast umpires would have done their job. On the other hand I am not sure why Hussey's case was referred to third umpire.
