I'd like to see a tri Test series downunder. Australia v England - Sydney South Africa v England - Perth Australia v South Africa - Brisbane Final - Melbourne :woot:

Nice idea. :two_thumbs_up: Why can't a test series have more than 1 team? The Asia test championship was a great step IMO. This would also give a new look to test cricket.

On the contrary the BCCI needs the Sri-Lankan board as much as they need us. The BCCI's money lies in India playing cricket. They cannot have the Indian team idle. So, you only have a handful of countries playing real competitively, of those, Pakistan was busy with England, NZ are playing SA, who's left? WI! Australia leave for WI following this series, so off-course they cannot have the WI playing the CB cos then the charm will go. The pool now narrows down to Aus, Ind and SL. Now take into consideration the fact that India has been playing against Australia for months now, saturation was bound to creep in. Thus it was imperative SL came in. Imagine no SL, the CB would've been a whole lot less interesting. Either which way both boards are junk. Too many series, killing the charm. Anyways it's safe to say that the Pakistan-India series will resume shortly, not for any other reason but economics. After all how many more series can India play against these other teams?

^I think we saw it in one of the world cup game. It was in chennai and SA couldn't chase 170-odd.

Give it a rest. Nobody "hates" Sri Lanka. Pakistan on the other hand...
