There is only one winner the Economy of Australia- thanks to all those free days this team got (3 day,4 day and some 2.5 day test matches) they did plenty of shopping, sightseeing, recreation etc. PM of Australia has actually urged the ACB to invite India every year for 6 test match series + Tri series giving tremendous boost to Australian economy.

Worst series Down under ever. Atleast since I started following cricket.
1999-2000 tour was another annus horribilis but bearing in mind that weak Indian side and Australian side at its peak, this tour may actually be worse.

And India were not touted as the best team in the world, or even amongst the top 3. This Australia team is perhaps the weakest after Alan Border's late 80s team (considering teams 1980 onwards) and Indian team was as good as any we have sent down under. And we failed gloriously :((:((

Back to the nineties, all those years in 2000s distant memory now, compare this to the last tour, almost won the test series, got robbed though due to horrendous umpiring and won the vb series.
