Why are you having such a problem answering a simple question? Congress claims itself to be secular, but isn't so is called pseudo secular. BJP claims itself to be secular, but isn't so what should they be called?
Because you are asking a wrong question. You are just after getting an answer which doesn't hold truth.
He has implicitly given the answer. BJP is a secular party. :isalute:

Awww ... look Congress started it then other parties did it. So lets blame Congress for starting it. The other parties obviously didn't have much of a choice did they? Poor BJP. :sniffle:
Well, as Congress has had a hold of the power for majority of independence years and yet fail to get those equality objectives but only widen this gap and used it well for their own political gain. India being in a mess currently lies a lot with Congress and their failed policies.

So' date=' essentially Congress kare tou pseudo secular, BJP kare tou wrong question.[/quote'] Every parties has their vote banks and will target them. There is nothing wrong with that but it is wrong if you also focus your sole attention to those targets and make policies suited to them. That's Congress and their dirty politics.

Good that you agree BJP plays vote bank politics. As for policies, as you said above BJP has hardly been in power to make policies and in states where they have been they have also made vote bank policies. Please answer the question though - is BJP pseudo secular?

How so? Like every party they have their supporters but that's not their focus for planning and policies. And good on you for admitting there is a thing like vote bank as remembering your previous posts, you were always in denial.

Don't worry it will be passed just before elections :two_thumbs_up:
doesn't looks likely. If passed, this bil would become a very strong election issue for the BJP and that could damage Cong. I think they will stay clear of this one for now.
Perhaps' date=' the most dangerous as a whole community will get presumed as guilty already.[/quote'] and in case of communal violence against that community, the other communities can't even be charged under this Bill. yeah.....and now also I think it won't be passed so as not to give BJP an election issue.

The definition of a "group" and "victim" according to the Congress supported communal violence bill:

“group” means a religious or linguistic minority, in any State in the Union of India, or Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes within the meaning of clauses (24) and (25) of Article 366 of the Constitution of India; “victim” means any person belonging to a group as defined under this Act, who has suffered physical, mental, psychological or monetary harm or harm to his or her property as a result of the commission of any offence under this Act, and includes his or her relatives, legal guardian and legal heirs, wherever appropriate; http://nac.nic.in/pdf/pctvb.pdf
So according to Congress the only victims in a communal violence are minorities and the people of the majority community who have been affected do not count as victims. Is this "secular" enough for the high priests of "secularism" ?
