Actually they're just rubbish. Even if you did not look at the speeds,if you watched the match you would have know he was unlucky.

That tells you something. he bowled well first few overs then fell off,Yes he has the worst economy rate but he is a wicket taker and guys like p.k,v.k are going at 5.9 so not much diff ,odis who cares ,if he first does well in tests then odis will take care for itself

At times, reading some of those posts, I get a feeling as if guys like VK are picking those wickets for our opponents and not for India. Nah we just understand the game better than you, no hate :finger:

Actually they're just rubbish. ZK and Srinath had worse economy in wc 03 final, that's right, but does that make them bad bowlers? Sree didn't even have benefit of having played in lead up to final 11 for rhythm, otherwise he would have picked up wickets. He is serial wicket taker. The losss to Bang today shows today what I have been saying since Aus tour. Our bowlers can't defend scores unless it's big. We don't have wicket takers. Just people who bowl tight on a good day and pick up odd wicket due to pressure. But they can't change a game the way nehra, zk, sree, agarkar could. I am not asking for these players inclusions but we need to find bowlers in this mould and one reliable containing bowler like Munaf.

I watched the match live and i did not see 150K plus and he is shown to bowl at 158k, what a joke is this. He barely went over 145K.

He may have a poor economy but look at his ODI strike rate, most of those wickets he has earnt too unlike our gutter level seamers.

He can touch 150k, he said himself. But stock delivery is 136-142k when he is rhythm with swing and seam,

His natural length is also perfect to smash if the pitch is flat.
