velu Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 PS; Velu do you get who i am :--D kerala_parotta :yay:
yoda Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 what he is saying is a player who is crap and is known to play slow can do so because it is not intentional (who gives a *** if it costs us numerous matches) but a Player who is capable of batting fast cannot slow down for a once in a lifetime milestone ... no prizes for guessing the name of the slow player :hysterical: Yea RD is crap, which is the why the whole world is heaping praises on his Jamminess since his retirement. :hysterical:

Hypocrisy at it's absolute best!
yoda Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 yeah and the 100th 100 was a disgracefull moment which is why the whole world (minus the losers at ICF ) is singing praises of the milestone including his Royal Jamminess himself :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: B-> I haven't seen that many heaps of praises for the 100x100. It is more of a relief for most that the distraction is over with. Yes the disgraceful call was made only on ICF, cause we like to call it as it is. :winky:

Hypocrisy at it's absolute best! Well you didn't pay attention when you read my posts. I have said test cricket is boring when played on pattas/lifeless wickets against mediocre opponents. Next time pay attention. :winky:
yoda Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 Anyways, looks like BB agrees that SRT did deliberately slow down to get the 100x100, but it is a once in a lifetime milestone, so he is entitled to do so at whatever SR he pleases. BB please confirm. :winky:

yoda Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 you have said all sorts of things about Test cricket ... i.e you dont have time for test cricket ' date=' that it sucks for good chunks and that IPL is far more exciting and it fits your schedule and what have you. :hysterical:[/quote'] Dude, even you have said you don't watch the whole test, that it is enough to catch bits and pieces and still enjoy it, which is what I do provided India is playing (which I consider a good team) on a wicket where there seems to be some hope of a result. I have said the 5 day format inherently is losing support (which it is, if you look at crowds in the stadium for tests) because people simply don't have the time to waste 5 days or even a whole day for part of a test.
yoda Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 dude he himself has said that it got to him pretty badly but what you don't realize is that even a supposedly very bad inngs by the great man was constructed at a far higher SR than your fav players overall SR. This is where context will help. Take this knock of SRT which resulted in a less than stellar score and finally a loss@77 SR vs a RD innings in the famous 2003 WC knock vs Pak. @ 53 SR (one of his slowest possibly), but a key innings to see us through after that blazing SRT/Sehwag start. When Tendulkar got out, we still needed 100 runs to win with just one non tailender left in the line up and what did RD do? Refused to quit till he saw us through. That is RD, doing whatever the team needs to the best of his ability, always, every innings of his career. :winky: If he failed, it is because he tried his best and failed, not because he had a personal agenda to fulfill on the way. :winky: :winky:
CasualVisitor Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 strange boss bhai trying to prove our bowling is good but blaming bowlers against bangladesh what he is saying is that our bowling is not as bad as it is made out to be (refer to "always sucks" pwnage) and that on that fateful day bowlers had a pretty bad day at office. Wrong?
yoda Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 true sachinstas will never agree that sachin slowed down to score his match winning 100th 100 :cantstop::cantstop: he actually did agree finally, which is like moving a mountain in case of BB. :giggle:
CasualVisitor Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 While you are at it learn that it is pathetic to slow the run rate after 30 overs inexplicably when you have 9 wickets in hand which included power hitters like Raina' date=' Dhoni.[/quote'] From a prophetic statements like "our bowling always sucks" to this face saving retreat. Enjoyed it.
CasualVisitor Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 Anyways, IMO, he is the greatest ODI player ever, but I have no problems criticizing his few innings here and there while heaping praises when he does well. This sums it up for me.
