bangladeshifan
saw shaki b being interviewd :(( The commies and the hosts were saying that sakib is known as one of the finest allrounder..with no. 1 allrounder in both tests and ODIs and KKR is treating him very poorly. Is it just me or was KKR management sleeping when sakib was playing in the Asia Cup? sakib after just one average performance was dropped while the likes of kallis and kalam were given chances after chances to prove themselves. If sakib was allowed to play all the matches he wudve gotten atleast 15 wickets by now and cudve scored around 150. Well not be, its KKR loss :(( stop whinning for god's sake. kkr's bowling is strong. so its important for them that mcculum gets going. they want a strong top order then they will be unbeatable. thats why they are trying mcculum. they have narine, abdullah. they want a explosive batsman now who can fire at the begining of the innings bcs yusuf not doing good

1983-2011
Executioner is acting abit like somes pakis on PP, kkr doesnt require shakib atm because they have narine (whos been bowling well)as one of the four foreign player and Abdulla as the second indian spinner. remember theres 4 foreign player rule in IPL. i bet if the pakistani players were selected in ipl then the paki fans would have been doing oooh aaaaahhhh if one of them wasnt picked in the playing 11 during every match
shibnarayan
kkr team should be Lee,Narine,Kallis,Sakib,Gambhir,Bisla,Y Pathan,Tiwary,Bhatia,Das,jani

bangladeshifan
play pathan in top 3 and bring shakib in easy pathan's form is the problem. they have gautam, kallis, tiwary. they need an explosive batsman. pathan not firing thats why they r trying with macculum. may be next match we will see shakib back again. bisla didnt do that bad

rajmarie
Agreed that Shakib should have been in the team...but with only 4 foreign player...it causes a problem. Lee is automatic since KKR dont have a desi quick. Narine is the most economic bowler in this IPL so he;s another automatic. Kallis does doube duty...& at No 3/4 is better suited to control the middle order. The only issue is 4th foreign player....& it depends on hows the team playing or their plan is. If Pathan had been in solid form....then that decision could have been easier...but with Pathan struggling to bowl/bat (his fielding has been poor all along)...the 4th foreign player spot becomes complicated. With KKR winning...they just dont want to disturb the playing XI
kidnextdoor
There is no excuse for not including Shakib in the playing XI .... McCallum is a waste of spot in playing XI and has one good innings for every 9 bad innings
Executioner
what also confuses me is the omission of bisla. The bloke played with a lot of class. Id rather have bisla playing instead of Pathan and giving him the gloves so maccullum gives his spot to sakib. The issue here lies is the team management's lack of faith in sakib and guys like deoschate. Sakib did well in the first 2 matches including a MOM and in the next match he blew and then the management was like: "He failed, time to change" just after one performance. At the end of the day sakib is a human, yes he is the world's best allrounder(not in T20 though) but he can make mistake However, the others like kallis and callum was given plenty of chances even when they failed. They were persisted after repeated failure. sakib however wasnt and at the end of they day it is evident that gautum gambhir doesnt trust him. To be honest next year he should go to Deccan chargers and bat at no.4 and bowl his full quota in every match and that can very much assure that Deccan do much better than this year
broken_wings
This is prolly the last year of Shakib in KKR. Other team like Deccan, Pune should bid for Shakib in the next ed. No point of wasting talent and time.

And Bengal's batting is really crap at this moment.
