So they settled for Sahara chief's name Interesting, thanks for sharing. After the death of Gaddafi, is this the only cricket stadium that is named after some one who is still alive?

We have a Rajapaksa Stadium at Hambantota in Sri Lanka, a Vivian Richards Stadium at Antigua in WI, a Muttiah Muralidaran Stadium at Pallekelle in SL, DY Patil stadium in Navi Mumbai..the list could be longer.

I missed out on D.Y Patil stadium. He's still around. Governor of one of the NE states.
