Hey guys, this is a really awkward thing to have to ask, but I was watching the Mumbai CSK game the other night (GO LEVI!) and my mother took an interest in Harbhajan's headdress. She sees a lot of Indian patients in her work but has apparently never seen one wearing Singhs unique headdress. I was somewhat embarrassed when she turned to me for answers and I found myself without one. Help me out here guys, is it some variation of turban, or just casual attire like a hat? :hatsoff:

Google Sikh turban
I did but his looks different to the kind I usually see in media. The knot at the front is different and it seems a lot tighter. Is it a regional difference or what?

That's called patka/keski/dastar. Yep, it is a variation of a turban and usually worn by kids or used while playing sports.
Thanks for the help. Now I can go back to feeling intellectually superior in my house. :hatsoff:
