DISCLAIMER: Yes, I saw it you-know-where but this is not a mock thread or anything. I didn't know that such a feature was available and I have applied it to India's rankings. So mods, chill. India has been no.1 in tests for 3 times in history before the ranking system- 1)from April 1973 to April 1974,2)from September 1980 to January 1981,3)From September 1995 to November 1995:yay::two_thumbs_up:

Checked the ranking from 1952 till now using the "Both" option which includes historical and retrospective modes, and guess what this is what I get for India and Pakistan. Apparently Pakis who claim to have been world beaters and kings of the world managed to reach the top ranking just once for a few weeks. Guess ICC "fixed" the ranking calculator as well coz India owns them on the ranking front as well :giggle: Take a look at the ranking charts for the two teams below...

I was actually surprised to see us at the top in mid 90s as we only won at home. I would have expected either WI or Aus to be at the top that time.

Why do India play very few test at home ? Since 1 Jan 1990 (Against all teams excluding ZIM and Bang ) INDIA At home : 82 Outside Sub-continent : 80 Now champions of test cricket i.e. England At home : 136 In Sub-continent : 32 So what happens to love for test when playing in Asia for England ?
