Old guy Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 ok here is what i dig up, last time when rahul faced gayle in chiinaswami this happend 8.1 Sharma to Kohli, 1 run, nearly a run-out, Kohli delicately dabs the ball towards short third man, sprints the single, he would have been well short if there had been a direct hit from Taylor, Taylor misses, and Kohli crashes into the bowler, Kohli has a sore shoulder, Sharma was hit in the back 8.2 Sharma to Gayle, 1 bye, an inside-edge takes the ball past the keeper for a single 8.3 Sharma to Kohli, no run 8.4 Sharma to Kohli, 1 run, powered towards cover, inside-out shot for a single 8.5 Sharma to Gayle, FOUR, once more Gayle is troubled by the turn, it spins into him off a length, gets an inside-edge after he skips away past leg, races away past the keeper for four 8.6 Sharma to Gayle, OUT, Sharma doing the job for Pune, he's got another big wicket now, Yuvraj has a big grin on his face, a length ball pitching on middle and strikes Gayle on the pads as he is stuck on the crease, it might have been a bit too high but the umpire was satisfied, no half-century for Gayle CH Gayle lbw b Sharma 49 (26b 4x4 4x6) SR: 188.46 i saw no spin this time around whatsoever hmmmmmmm diff match.. diff track......also wickets will get slower as tournament will go on.. was this match played in latter part of last year tournament ?
