Executioner Posted April 28, 2012 Posted April 28, 2012 Here are some of the players who are quite underrated in IPL: 1) Shakib Al Hasan: Without question the best all rounder in the world at present. Shakib scored 3 crucial half centuries in Asia Cup and also a 49 ball 30 only to get out to a questionnable decision from the 3rd umpire. In IPL he hasnt done much with the bat but has only been given very little chance to bat and that too when he doesnt have too many balls to face. However, with the ball he was brilliant almost always, with 17 wickets from 10 matches with economy rate of around 6.5. 2) Andre russel: Didnt get a chance when Ross, KP and jaya werent there and at present seems to have no chance. This guy is a GOOD bowler and also a useful player for your last 5 overs just like pollard. 3) Iqbal abdullah: IMO is a much better bowler than Nadeem and also proved that last year. This year he hardly got a game and even when he didnt get much overs 4) Murali karthik: Gets dropped in every alternative match. This guy is better than Rahul sharma and not to mention that he is SLA which gives him the extra advantage 5) Tendoeschate: This guy is a top batsman but keeps getting neglected again and again

I dont troll there, I try to be honest but the pakistanis are so blind that they dont understand whats good for them. Just because the tour is cancelled you guys started to call us Minnows, Pussies, cowards and stuff. Some cheap double standard people to say the least. Its ok to host SL in Aus but no, they cant host BD elsewhere. And comments like "beggars cant be chosers" disgust me a lot.

He can do better than ross what suprise me more is that in the early part guys like Vander merwe, aaron finch, bracwell?? were given a go ahead of russel

jairamesh Posted April 28, 2012 Posted April 28, 2012 Sakib is in the wrong team, would have been handy at Deccan or Punjab, similarly Russell too. It is not the case of these players being underrated, but they are all part of strong squads.
