hey guys, long time reader of this site. I just wanted to say how much this bastard pisses me off. Is there any way for the BCCI to get rid of this guy? I'm positive this was the same bastard who screwed india over the 3rd test last year in south africa.

don't know if hez biased or anything.. but surely he isn't worth umpiring on this international level.. guy just refuses correct lbw appeal before even bowler appeals.... that doesn't make him the smartest of all umpires, but the shytest among the most..

yes, those two decisions of Ganguly and Anderson were quite horrible to say the least.

i dunno but the way he gave ganguly out yesterday and saved anderson's ass with purest of plumb lbws by sree makes me wonder. atleast bucknor hasnt screwed us over.. yet.

The Indian cricketers can issue formal complaints, but these actions have no repurcussions since the ICC are very protective of their umpires, steadfast in their refusal to acknowledge their overall crappyness and lack of professionalism. India have been complaining about Bucknor for years - first after the '99 Kolkata Test when he unfairly referred Tendulkar's collision with Shoaib to the match-referee who declared it out. Then we all know what happened at Sydney and Ganguly even gave him a "very poor" rating in his post-series report. John Wright complained about him on the Pakistan tour. They were all wasted efforts, as he was allowed to continue unconditionally. As long as players aren't allowed to contest decisions, we'll continue seeing f*ck-ups for a long, long time.

dammit that sucks. bcci needs to hit the icc with their wallet. indian cricket shouldn't be blantly sabotage liked that. especially compared to the aussies which get away with murder.
