Can somebody from SL confirm it ? Is it so low ? According to an industry source, the amount CSN will pay for the rights is peanuts compared to what it is worth. How many India tours are there scheduled in that period? With SL audience being low in numbers, Indian tours play an important role in the bidding for TV rights

about last year the government made it a rule that cricket can be broadcast in SL only through government owned channels or dedicated sports channels. the only dedicated sports channel in SL in CSN. and government channels were forced not to bid this year. so basically a cakewalk for CSN :hysterical::hysterical:

Which basically means the BCCI will continue to bankroll the SLC and we will carry on playing some useless series in SL every year to fill SLC's coffers..

nimbus bought the right from bcb back in 2006 for 56.88 mill for 6 yrs. SO MUCH MUCH BETTER :((
