Just curious, has Congress and AAP have something written in their manifesto about decriminalizing homosexuals or is their any official line of these parties for this. I was watching Arun Jaitley's interview on NDTv and he said that he is personally not in favour of criminalizing homosexuals and till now each and every individual have given their respective opinions.

Both have decriminalizing homosexuals in their manifesto from what I read in media reports - haven't read any actual manifestos. I was watching Arun Jaitley's interview on NDTv and he said that he is personally not in favour of criminalizing homosexuals and till now each and every individual have given their respective opinions. UPA appealed in SC to reconsider their decision in addition to giving individual opinions.

Did u miss the term "constitutionally"? Or did adhering to constitution become 'communal'? And the SC has ruled homosexuality criminal. While SC is not outside the ambit of criticism, do you understand that broad consensus is required in a land of a billion before such decisions are made? Funny someone who accuses Modi of taking autocratic decisions is now blaming him and party for listening to the verdict of the court and other broader groups, and the laws of the land. Nah, whom am I replying to? A bigot who twists arguments to suit his case: In case of one he'll say its against law. In case of another he'll argue "change the law" :haha:

I think it would have been part of Congress Manifesto but not of AAP. I guess the party which favours Khaap and ask more power for them would have surely avoided this controversial subject.

And Congress manifesto talks about making homosexuality legal. Isn't there a contradiction? :giggle: Of course you wouldn't touch upon that, because you are not a supporter of either CONG or AAP but just want to grab attention by going against what is popular, i.e BJP.

Judge for yourself "I'll do everything using all options available within constitution to promote one religion over other" See there is nothing wrong in this statement as i'll only use constitutional means. Right?

So you didn't find fault when AAP manifesto was talking about benefits to muslims : in a seperate paragraph, no less, includinga seperate judicial system for trial of muslim terror suspects as ipromotion of one religion over the other?
