he's not wrong - with the kind of noise Modi and his Bhakts are making' date=' if BJP does badly (and I am sure it will do badly if Modi is the leader going into the elections) then the result will be seen as Modi's complete failure.[/quote'] to each their own. i trust that national BJP wouldnt take the step of making Modi the national face without calculating pros/cons. the 2014 election will clear all doubts

I'm no Advani bhakt.. I'm NDA bhakt... This was the time NDA could've come to power but no.. it won't because of that MOFO Man In Hurry... who effing can't wait...
NDA is a foregone conclusion. Nitish, Mamata, and Patnaik already want the federal front. All these regional satraps want the top job. good luck getting 84 year old Advani to handle them

The Federal Front is just a delusion that these leaders have every 5 years. With the HUGE egos and equally big ambitions all these leaders have, there is absolutely no way they can all work together without the BJP/Cong to hold the coalition as the biggest party. As for Advani handling them - last I heard, Nitish is thinking of leaving and it was Advani who was the first one to try and persuade him not to leave because of Modi's elevation. Its been Advani (and AtalJi when he was active) who has managed the NDA (and all other relationships of the BJP even before the NDA was created) since its creation. Even now at the age of 84 he has more acceptability across the political spectrum than any other opposition leader in the country.

whats the point of acceptability if you cant get seats? the same guy that led BJP to 116 seats is going to be kingmaker in 2014 puhleez. the RSS is fed up of the old man's tactics. the cadre want nothing to do with him. if a primary was held in the BJP today, Advani wouldnt even get 20 percent of the vote. How do you expect nation to vote for him when the party cadre themselves want Modi?

The allies just do not give a sh!t as to what the BJP workers think - they have to think of their own party and if they believe that having Modi as the PM candidate (or as the PM after the elections) will harm their party or threaten their vote banks then they simply will not accept him. The BJP cadre may be shouting "Modi Modi Modi" (and I will accept that the workers do want him) but it won't really count for anything if after the elections a consensus cannot be built around his name. BJP just cannot go out and announce its PM candidate without taking into consideration the acceptability factor - and for all of Modi's plus points (which aren't many IMO), this one factor will be enough to make sure that he doesn't become the PM.

Advani had a free run in 2009 to do whatever he wanted. What was the end result? 116 seats. Even if all NDA coalition members that Vajpayee had came together, with that tally, you are NEVER gonna cross 272. simple

BJP should go into the elections under collective leadership and then if they get enough seats, the question of the PM can be decided after the election.

Modi anyways isn't going to result in maximum number of seats. Believe me when I say this - UP and Bihar (a total of 128 seats) will be gone if Modi is the PM candidate and with these 2 states gone, there is no way no way in hell BJP can from the Govt.

BJP won't get more than 10 seats. In UP BJP will get a maximum of 15 seats if Modi is the PM candidate. Thats a total of around 25 out of 128. You may think all this is BS now but I'll say you should mark these posts by me and come back to check my predictions after the elections if Modi is the PM candidate :nice:

The delusion and complete lack of understanding of Indian politics from Modi fanboyyzz is amazing. Can one of the fanboyzz explain to me how BJP will get to 220 seats with Modi at the helm by doing a state by state breakdown. Here is an earlier post of mine, which is a wildly optimistic scenario in favor of BJP:

Let's take the most optimistic scenario for the BJP(counting only the BJP not allies since their support will be contingent on Modi) in 2014: 1. UP - 30/80 2. Bihar - 10/40 3. Maharashtra - 30/48 (including Shiv Sena since they will gladly support Modi) 4. MP - 20/29 5. Rajasthan - 20/25 6. Karnataka - 15/28 7. Gujarat - 20/26 Throw in another 50 from AP, Assam, Chhatisgarh, Harayana, Delhi, Punjab, Orissa and they still don't cross 200 forget about 271. None of their allies except Shiv Sena is going to support a government with Modi at the helm. It will be political suicide if BJP makes Modi their PM candidate and despite what the internet residing middle class thinks the ground reality is that BJP has got it's ass handed to them on a platter wherever Modi has campaigned outside Gujarat.

:giggle: Once again' date=' another amateur post filled with repeated BS and hate. The riots issue was discussed few pages back but then as expected, you didn't answer back those questions. [/quote'] What a load of crap. You google for some Pro Modi article and then keep posting that as evidence. And any anti modi article you dismiss as Congress propaganda and kanspiracy :giggle: Any point about the number of people killed in Gujrat under Modi's watch is deflected by pointing fingers at Congress. And your posts are an insult to anyone with above half a brain. Keep peddling these crazy conspiracy theories about how evil muslims are going to take over the country because of vote bank politics. The truth is that muslims are among the disadvantaged groups in India with their HDI indicators lagging behind the rest of the population. And there is nothing wrong with the government helping out the disadvantaged with better access to education, healthcare and other basic needs.

^ on a side note' date=' ganran by trying to discredit the other side by saying load of crap, "peddiing lies" just makes you look that much more stupid :good:[/quote'] Can you post the factually incorrect statements that I made?
