ndtv: I called BJP leaders yesterday to talk about how we should go about with the split..They never came: Nitish Kumar http://t.co/7WtvPfCRab
someone should ask him what exactly was there to talk about when he had already decided that he was going to split? The only question was who blinked first - whether BJP withdrew support or JDU sacked BJP Ministers. In the end BJP still tried and didn't withdraw support and it was JDU that broke the alliance and sacked all BJP Ministers.

I dont know how the low life f*** riots.
Have to really admire the hero worship and personality cult following that Modi fans have. They keep on going on about how development is important and they care about India but here we have them abusing one of the progressive CMs because he dared go against Modi. Midi following is nothing to do with development, it's a cult personality following.

He was right during 2002 when he congratulated him but suddenly he realized that Modi is non secular and all the heroes of India: Digvijay, Gandhji, Mulayam, Lalu, Nitish suddenly became secular. At least Modi fans think logically, I am just wondering how Rahul baba fan think. They love double speaking.

give one example where human development has overtaken economic growth? India since independence has failed miserably trying push human development before economic growth. China was basket case pushing human development until it realised it's fallacy in the 70s. the success stories of human development like Scandinavia and Canada all got human development after rampant industrialisation through private enterprises. even the popular Indian example of successful human development, Kerala, is driven by economic growth and private enterprise. food security bill, tilak-topi, subsidies, is NOT human development but appeasement for short term gain for power hungry corrupt politicians.
What is your point? The previous post and this one is totally disconnected. You said minority sh!t is not important and I said HDI is also important and shouldn't be hidden under the garb of economic development. Anything wrong in what I say?

What a load of crap. You google for some Pro Modi article and then keep posting that as evidence. And any anti modi article you dismiss as Congress propaganda and kanspiracy :giggle: Any point about the number of people killed in Gujrat under Modi's watch is deflected by pointing fingers at Congress.
I doubt anyone could have put it more succinctly.

Rahul Kanwal ‏@rahulkanwal Sushil Modi: For @narendramodi to be acceptable outside Gujarat he needs to be more conciliatory. No harm in putting on cap & hosting Iftars before Modi bhakts come shouting "who is this guy, what does he know about politics, Modi has all support he needs Blah Blah Blah", Sushil Modi was the deputy CM of Bihar till 3 PM today so he knows a thing or two about politics :winky:

Nitish still doesn't have anything against BJP personally. He is just afraid of his vote bank being affected if Modi becomes the top candidate. And he is p!ssed of how his (and dissenter's within BJP's) voices were not given any kind of consideration when elevating Modi. That's not how a coalition works. If you are a part of a coalition, it's fair to think that your viewpoint will also hold some value Don't think Nitish would have any problems with Modi continuing to do good in Gujarat, he might still praise him. But at a national level his presence might affect his own vote banks. Plus their is the obvious ego issue. I think the whole thing could have been handled better by the BJP

That may be true , but BJP cannot simply decide who will be their leader based on its allies opinion.BJP still didn't made Modi official PM candidate so there was opportunity for Nithish kumar to wait for some more time. All he was to do is continue his progressive work in Bihar and expect good result.

yeah. Both sides showed a bit of immaturity in this case. If Modi has not been declared the PM candidate then BJP should have said so emphatically and should have set a date by which they would have chosen a PM candidate. JDU on the other hand could have also waited for sometime to see if the post of Campaign CHief really translated into PM candidature for Modi before deciding to split.

My guess is Nithish is fallen for Con party trap , even during last election Rahu baba praised his secular credentials , may be it went his head. He is just waiting for some excuses to jump the ship. Whatever happened happened , if NDA is dead so be it , BJP now can't go back, Win or lose Modi is the leader :two_thumbs_up:

NDA now

Bharatiya Janata Party (116 MPs) Shiv Sena - Maharashtra (11 MPs) Shiromani Akali Dal - Punjab (4 MPs) Telangana Rashtra Samithi - Andhra Pradesh (2 MPs) Asom Gana Parishad - Assam (1 MP) Nagaland People's Front - Nagaland (1 MP) Janata Party - Tamil Nadu Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party - Goa (Alliance in Goa State with BJP) Haryana Janhit Congress - Haryana (1 MP) National People's Party - Meghalaya
so not much to lose.

I think Nitish was just in a hurry to make sure that his party doesn't have any sort of association with a BJP where Modi has a prominent role so he pulled the plug on the coalition. I think he's smart enough to realize that joining Cong now would be a really bad decision so he would go into the elections alone or maybe, just maybe I think he may even come back to NDA before the elections. if NDA is dead so is BJP because if it goes alone in states like Bihar then it will face huge losses. ATM he most certainly is not. Right now its not even clear whether the BJP wil declare a PM candidate or not and if they do declare, then when then its still at least 4-5 months away and I expect many things to go against him by that time.

I didn't mentioned Nitish fell for Rahu baba's praise , just mentioned how con party is pursuing him from long time in the name of secularism. Nitish is always begging Center to give Bihar some special status , so Con party can easily arrange a deal with him. Don't know why Rahul supporters read one line and assume something, start laugh at others instantaneously.
