The Outsider Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 As for this "first time leader" thing - this is certainly the first time hearing of it. Till now it used to be "a great administrator with 12 years of experience". Second time to be honest - the first time it was used to justify the riots as they happened when he was a first time CM with only 3 months of experience and busy looking after earthquake victims from a year ago.

Then you wonder why people bring '84 riots, Godghra train burning into any Modi discussion.
The Outsider Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 If you try little bit harder you can move the starting point to 155. For exapmle you can add all the seats BJP will lose becausw seculars voting against BJP. Huh? BJP went ahead with Modi because they were confident that Modi will more than make up for the 20 seats lost due to JD-U's exit. How does it help BJP's prospects to form a government if they lose 20 seats from JD-U and gain only 10 from Modi?
Sachin=GOD Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 We cant predict state wise numbers on current BJP capability' date='honestly speaking BJP wont win even 100 seats if you caluculate statewise, thats where Modi magic required.[/quote'] you mean BJP ki hawa chalegi ?

How does it help BJP's prospects to form a government if they lose 20 seats from JD-U and gain only 10 from Modi? Is JDU winning 20+ seats guaranteed? As i already menriones IDC how much seats NDA wins right now. Its all about BJP and Modi right now.
Sachin=GOD Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 Is JDU winning 20+ seats guaranteed? As i already menriones IDC how much seats NDA wins right now. Its all about BJP and Modi right now. check out this post by me - http://www.indiancricketfans.com/showpost.php?p=2527692&postcount=1641 in 1999 BJP was at its highest point and even then out of 543 seats it only contested 339 and gave over 200 to allies and thats why it ended up winning 182. BJP simply isn't in the position to go into the elections without major pre poll alliances - if it does go to the elections without some big allies (as it looks like it will have to because of Modi), BJP will face a very, very, very tough task despite all the corruption and anti incumbency of UPA.
bulbul Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 BJP with Advani cannot challenge UPA even with JDU. With Modi BJP has to atleast strengthen the party.NDA , Govt all are secondary. JDU was ready to jump the ship from some time, they are giving this excuse of psecular nonsense for votebank purpose.
The Outsider Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 Is JDU winning 20+ seats guaranteed? Nothing is guaranteed, I am just giving the current JD-U tally like we are using current BJP tally. As i already menriones IDC how much seats NDA wins right now. Its all about BJP and Modi right now. Okay, that's your point of view, fine. But I am sure BJP leaders are not going into the elections thinking like that. They are going into the elections with the aim to form a government and the only government they can form is a NDA government, not a BJP or Modi government.

The Outsider Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 Then why BJP leaders elected Modi as thier leader? Are they dumb? The proof will be in the pudding, but they certainly did not elect him thinking 155 seats will be enough to form a government with Modi as the leader or call the elections a success.
CSK Fan Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 So this election is a trial run for Modi and 155 seats will be considered a success?
asterix Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 As I said, this is the sacrifice BJP has to make to satisfy the man in hurry....so the deal is, "Modi gets his chance to live his national politician wet dream (at the expense of BJP/NDA), gets his come uppance and then goes back to his land...BJP starts again 10 years back where it should've been".... Congress keeps ruling, making money and generally :hehe: @ BJP chewtiyas...

asterix Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 :haha: Actually its the Indians (as whole) who are chewtiyas. They deserve Congress and the coming Civil War. The onus is not on Indians.... The onus is on the parties to win it for them... Only chewtiyas hope something from public and blame public... They deserve Congress because there's no other party worth it's salt to fight and win elections all over India against Congress...

If you think any country in the last 300 years has developed because of their rulers and not their collective effort, you are dead wrong. A party of traitors and looters keeps coming into power only because majority of the India is still chewtiya.

Can you say that BJP is Pan-Indian party which can fight and win elections against Congress in any part of the country?

I wish/hope he wins lot more seats than that. That's where the magic going to happen.
