I actually wish BJP loses out bigtime and Congress comes back stronger then ever. Which will only hasten the the march towards chaos. The only way Congress ceases to be a party is if there is a serious churning in the country's law and order situation. Again, the problem is Congress. Always has been since 47. They are the remnants of a 800 year old colonial period. You simply can't build a nation, when the loyalty of its rulers lies outside of the country.

Modi being the head of the BJP Campaign will work against BJP in many states ; in some others, he's just unknown ; in some others there will be a substantial level of polarization against BJP because of him yeah, he's the right man for the job!!!!

Even in Bihar BJP can use caste card if required. You talk like there was no polarization against BJP in last election , how could Con party won 220+ seats against BJP's 117 in last election??

You need massive amounts of patience, ability to adjust and take everyone together to run such a Govt - I don't see any of these qualities in Modi. Modi is not one of those leaders for whom people will vote because of his caste - in his case people usually have extreme views and even though some people in the BJP have now started to use his caste, it won't matter much in the elections. BJO lost primarily because it failed to establish itself as a viable alternative - all people saw was negative campaigning from it so they didn't vote for it.

The only factor over which voters wll polarize for/against BJP in this election is the image of Modi as the Hindutva poster boy.

Ex - look at FDI in retail and how Cong screwed up badly by not taking the allies into confidence early or look at that rail budget where Dinesh Trivedi (of TMC) raised the railway fares marginally (which was a much needed move and was applauded by most railway experts) but he was sacked because he taken neither his own party nor any of the allies into confidence. So unless you have an absolute majority on your own, you just cannot says that "I don't care about the allies" because then you won't be able to do the very thing you set you to do - pursue your development agenda. I guess its because of Modi's personality cult that almost all of his supporters seem to think of the allies as lowest priority when in fact it should be the top most priority because BJP, more than Congress, needs pre poll allies in many states and also because implementing whatever development agenda you have will depend on the allies support.

Good. Leave it to the states. Centre shouldn't have such powers in a large country like India anyways. From Modi's speeches, he actually seem to be in favour of greater federalism. Forward thinking states shouldn't be handcuffed because of the cowbelt and the shitistan that is Eastern India.

I can clearly see the ground is being made to cover up the impending failures of Modi at national level. So if public doesn't votes for him (as if sala he has some 'baap ka haq' to win election), the public is chewtiya, fool, or uneducated bumpkin... :cantstop:
