Dude you are comparing two different sports, two different sportsmen from two different nations, Rooney is a talented bloke, He deserve to be in the mix of things, I can name 7 players right now, who deserves to be ahead of jadeja in the Indian Team.

The quality of Premier League or La Liga is same as that of Euros and World Cups which is not the case of IPL teams. IPL teams are way behind the national teams. So the comparison is not appropriate here.

Bhai, epl is dominated by foreign players most teams are filled with them,but spain and other countries has a limit to how many outsiders can play in the league.allthough epl is most competitive ,england team suffers do to that as when clubs can buy young players from brazil or argentina for cheap .

What I was trying to say was due to the inclusion of so many international players, the club teams are of the same quality as that of national teams whereas IPL teams are not even comparable with the national teams. Hence the comparison of Rooney and Jadeja is not correct.

Then by that logic Murali Vijay is a great batsman because performing at international level is not required for a player to be called great.
