Kerala Express Watch Thread

Sreesanth > Javagal Srinath.
Hello there captain obvious. Why would you compare someone who has never been No.1 in Tests or won a World Cup to someone who has nothing else left to achieve. Is there anything Sreesanth is yet to achieve? He has reached the pinnacle in all 3 formats. :adore::adore::adore: O and The Kerala express is not dropped but injured.

^Test Cricket is the real Cricket and for Indian players it's important how well they did out of SC in winning games. Sreesanth single-handedly won us 2 tests out of SC , how many did Srinath win ? Ans - 0. I rate him higher than Javagal Srinath.

I guess you will be the only "fans" to revolt :cantstop:
Likewise you with your God. :giggle: Jokes aside, serious discussion only on my thread about Sree. I cannot wait for the IPL to start any longer, Sree has been missing for too long :omg: No one bowls with his skill when he is on song and he is amazing to watch.

Name one player better than the Kerala express.... EXACTLY Sunny- No this guy only good in Tests where is his T2O World Cup winners medal. Strike rate of 62 in ODIs... :hatsoff: Don Bradman- Lol seriously? This phaggot only did well in Tests Midget- Average of 10 in T20 Internationals, not even good enough to be picked for the squad which won WC. :giggle: In football there is Pele and likewise the only person to have reached the pinnacle in cricket is Sreesanth. Please name one person who has achieved more. It's no coincidence we won both world cups and became No.1 after Sreesanth started playing. Cant wait to see him in action in IPL! Only the best players can adapt to play well in all 3 formats.

um... which part of my post was funny? I think the problem is some people suggest that Sreesanth averages over 30 blah blah blah But look even the great Harbhajan who has over 400 wickets in Tests said that if you can contain one end you build pressure which helps the team win. On the other hand you have the record loving midget who only plays for himself and not the team. Tell me the result of the games where he scored his 100s in the WC. Maybe his 100s win games against Bangladesh but the truth is he plays for himself. There is no "I" in team. Here's an interesting fact: 2003 WC Final- No Sreesanth- Result: loss 2011 WC Final- Sreesanth plays- Result: Win, he did not get wickets but like Bhaji said it's not always about wickets. 2007 T20 WC- Sreesanth plays- India win WC Next 2 T20 WCs India dissapoints and surprise surprise NO SREESANTH!!!! India reach No.1 Tests, Sreesanth dropped and India dropped from No.1...

In IPL he was consistantly touching 140k and hasnt had a chance in internationals yet. Sree will never put on an Indian jersey again' date=' no pace, no ability and no chance![/quote'] Do you really want me to bump up your dumbass previous posts? Pretty much everything you have said about anything has been wrong. No point debating with you, you don't watch cricket or lack the ability to understand it. Dinda can touch 140k but he is fast medium. Sree can hit close to 150k if he wants to but slows down due to swing and seam control. In wc final he was bowling in late 140's.

LOL where does this swing and seam get him, staring at the boundary where the ball goes or giving dirty looks to the batsman? Sree has no consistency with his line, cant bowl yorkers and has done well in one series in bowler friendly conditions and is not international class...time to move on which is what selectors are doing. At the very best (if i was being nice) id say he is a very average test match bowler.

Old article but some of us good do with reminders: Pace is not the only name of the game for speedster S Sreesanth , India's new bowling sensation, as he wants to touch the 150 kmph limit and keep his rhythm alive. Talking to newspersons in Bangalore on Wednesday night, he said "I want to keep on improving my speed. However, I don't say that I want to be the fastest bowler. I just want to keep my rhythm alive and may achieve 150 km, God willing." On the threshold of fulfilling his aim, Sreesanth currently bowls around 145 kmph. "Being an ethnic bowler, I am just trying to keep my rhythm right and I am sure on a good day, I may touch the right speed," he added. Sreesanth, who would be joining the MRF Foundation from Thursday, said "I am basically working on improving my strength and doing a lot of running. I have not really bowled after last match and in the Foundation, I have to concentrate more on maintaining my rhythm." Asked about his preparation for the coming West Indies tour, the 23-year-old Keralite said "I am really looking forward to playing in the Caribbean field as it is my dream to play in the West Indies, Australia and England. I am looking forward to the next match and next ball I bowl. I am working more on fast bowling and playing in West Indies will really help in further improving my performance." He had not put in any special or extra effort to improve his performance in the coming series against West Indies. "I will take it as it comes. I will push in as it comes," he added. On Pakistan captain Inzamam-ul-Haq complimenting him for his performance, Sreesanth said, "Inzamam praising is a great pleasure. It is really a great honour, it encourages me to work hard. It is great to know that a Pakistan captain is praising an Indian player." Asked about his best moment, he said the great moment in his life was when master blaster Sachin Tendulkar presented him the Indian cap at Nagpur. The budding speedster was not bothered about burnout due to playing too much cricket. "I don't feel any pressure, I love to play cricket any time and I don't feel it is too much." On his experience after making a debut against England in Nagpur in March last, he said he had a great run in the last two months. "I am very lucky to be part of the Indian team and am grateful to the BCCI for giving an opportunity at the right time to a right person." About coach Greg Chappell and Indian captain Rahul Dravid , he said they had told him to keep the basics right and "start believing in yourself and you belong to this and stick to it." Regarding his contribution with the willow, Sreesanth, whose bowling idol was Dennis Lillee, said, "I may come out as a batsman also if the team needs me. Chappell is very helpful."
